Hey everyone... Friendly reminder that the next QCRS launch is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2019...
What are you bringing? What are you burning?
For some reason, I feel like I should make a green rocket....

One week. I'm flying something dammit... No idea what, but something with my name on it will fly.

I’ll be flying my 3” Punisher on a K185 if the clouds cooperate. Otherwise I’ll fly something smaller in it like an H550 for a low altitude flight.

My girls and nephews want to fly their little Estes rockets if we have the pad set up.

I just found out the fellow that bought a tractor from me want to come down Saturday at noonish... Make sit tough to get out there. But he's coming from N Wisconsin/Minnesota area and paid me a goodly sum of money, so I better be there... If I get ambitious, I'll get there around 7:00 and start setting up. But I''l have to leave by 10:00 to 10:30 at the latest.

Is there any way that I could borrow an AT extended forward closure from someone who will be attending? I bought a K185W for my 1706 case without knowing it needed the extended closure.

If anything were to happen during the flight, I would of course buy you a new one immediately.

Forecast is looking good so far!

if it holds, I'll be flying:
4" Punisher on L1100 EX White trash
Vindicator jr (short) on H100 EX Not So Wimpy
Swamp monster (4" with 54 hole) on 3 grain 54 EX J pitch black sparky motor. I guess it's about a J200 or so? Also assumes that I finish up the swamp monster :)

I'm planning to bring and fly my Loc Magnum on a K550 and my scratchbuilt 3" PAC-3 Missile on a J350. Better yet I'm bringing my girlfriend who will be flying her first rocket: an Estes Partizon, on a G64. If time to finish it and time to fly allows, I'll also launch a LOC Fantom 438 on an I161.

Justin, sorry we'll miss you but hope your parents' moving process goes well. Mine are in the middle of a move now.

Does anyone have a functioning Jolly Logic Altimeter 3 my son and I could borrow for the launch? He's got a school project he needs the data for.
He's launching an Arreaux 5 times with varying amounts of weight. I promise to replace before you go home if it's not returned or if it's broken. But that is a tiny risk considering his motor choice (F52).
I'd use my own, but after two years of non-use, I think the LiPo is dead. [emoji19]

Great launch today- lots of nice flights. Anyone know if the guys from Missouri found their upper stage? Tim thought it came in ballistic like the booster
