Here is the altimeter data from the flight, my simulation had apogee at 1600 feet, and according to the Eggtimer it was 1725 @ 10 seconds. The motor eject was less than a second after apogee, so that is pretty good. Descent rate with the 42" spherachute was 20 feet per second, just right (launch weight was 59 oz.). And the tree branch was 35' high!

It looks like the motor ejection pressurized the altimeter bay. I ought to make a better seal with the bulkhead to see if I can reduce that.

Thank you all, the adventure continues with bigger rockets and bigger motors. I had a great time at Red Glare and will aim to get down there again next year.
