Spot on. VFA-103 (nicknamed the Jolly Rogers) flying a F-14 Tomcat. Currently flying the F/A-18 Super Hornet. With it saying "Navy" I would say he got a little inspiration for the twin tail from the F14 Tomcat or F18 with em angled and not straight. Shark mouth on the induction cowl just like a P40. Paint scheme from a Messerschmitt. I don't see a Spitfire?
Either way, very nice

And a P-40 Warhawk "Flying Tigers"
Wondering where the OP downloaded the picture from. Might have more info there.

Help me out here, exactly what feature on that rocket looks inspired from a Spitfire in any way, shape, or form?People make their own rockets a lot, I think that the Apogee Snarky was part of the inspiration but this guy made it bigger and changed some of the features. Obviously, a spitfire (British ww2 airplane) was also factored in, mixed with some modern USAF planes. Actually, this guy might have flown spitfires or other planes, who knows? It looks absolutely insane.

Yes, looking at pictures of a spitfire afterwards I was wrong. I was thinking of some other WW2 plane, probably aWith it saying "Navy" I would say he got a little inspiration for the twin tail from the F14 Tomcat or F18 with em angled and not straight. Yeah, I am wrong, and looking back the only thing on it that really looks like a spitfire is the shark mouth, which many planes, including, as you said, the war-hawk, all shared. With it saying "Navy" I would say he got a little inspiration for the twin tail from the F14 Tomcat or F18 with em angled and not straight. I sort of did, but being a British WW2 soldier is cool, So I'm justifying it that way.You just called him old
sorry, didn't realize my half finished reply was posted.bly a
sorry, mixed up my airplanes. Not sure what I was thinking. One thing on it is the shark mouth, which some spitfires had (As mentioned, P40s also had this paint job some times).Help me out here, exactly what feature on that rocket looks inspired from a Spitfire in any way, shape, or form?
