Okay.

Yikes.

Ready to order some propulsion gear.

I want a base 29mm & 38mm kit that will allow me to utilize non-HAZ 29mm reloads for mid power at the local field (initially flying a LOC IV) and up though most of the 38mm 'I' reloads for level 1, as well as for use on whatever 29mm & 38mm MMT non-L2 kits I fly down the road. Despite some sweaty-palmed sticker shock I figure the following will give me the most flexibility for some time to come.

This is what's on the list right now. I am not wealthy and so am the Internet Shopper from Hell, and these are the lowest prices I can find from two different vendors. (There's a lot of out-of-stock items out there now, so I will have to split up the order):

AT 29mm RAS and RMS 180 & 360 cases + Aft Closure $150.00
RMS 38mm Aft Closure $40.00
AT 38mm RAS $42.50
AT RMS 38/360 case $51.00
AT RMS 38/600 case $63.67
RMS Delay Drill Tool $16.99

(My understanding is that the Floating Forward Closure in the RAS kits replace the standard Forward Closure of the RMS cases).

I have an Aeropack 38mm retainer and 29mm/38mm adapter on-hand already. I know I'll need igniters, but am still building so I have some time.

Am I missing anything? Advice is appreciated before I push the Red Button...

the AT 38mm starter set (if you can find it) would be my suggestion. comes with the 360 & 720 cases, rear closure floating forward closure forward seal disk, and 2 spacers. with this you can fly anything G motors to small Js (G61 - J500). I would however suggest a 2nd set of closures incase you should want to build 2 motors ahead of time but I digress.
personally I haven't tried the high power style 29mm cases so can't comment on them...but the 29/40-120 cases are nice. delay tool, yes please.

Wildman club will get you ten (or more) percent off pretty much everything motor related. At a cost of $30 per year it’s worth it when making the initial investment in hardware and motors.

Thanks, all!

That's a good call on the 38/720 case. And the CSR Combo suggestion saved me $40 :)

Ahhhh, the 'Sold out' issue on many of the parts & combo kits have been killing me, and some have occurred even as I have been watching and contemplating purchases, I mean, I made a spreadsheet and the list was long & distinguished before paring it down to combos, which in many cases turned out to be sold out, sending me back to square one. I am afraid it will only get worse as the season progresses. 'Fortune Favors the Bold' I guess...
