Binder Design's 4" tubes are a good match (34" Max length). I just double checked with my own personal samples. It's a little tight but I was able to blow it free with a good "puff". If you were to seal the tube, then sand the inside, it could be a little easier to pop the nosecone.

BD also sells couplers that would allow you to extend the body tube beyond 34", if needed.

NICE! The new owners brought the MDRM NC back. Although a few $ higher than before. Perhaps the whole MDRM is close behind.

I’ve had my eye on building a mid power DRM for a while. This nose cone is just what I’ve been waiting for. Buying a NOS MDRM kit just to get the nose cone wasn’t an option due to the insane prices of the kits on the used market.

We can hope but unless you can fly the MDRM on the current 29mm BP motors probably not. Maybe a new version - a MDRM-lite perhaps - but that won’t satisfy most folks who seem to want it brought back. A lighter built version wouldn’t be as amenable to use with higher power motors like the original.

Now, if there’s a new MDRM along with some more powerful motors...that would ROCK! Even though I’m not into HPR and would be just fine with a MDRM-lite a bring back of the original along with more powerful motors from Estes could be intriguing!
