It's a hard one for me to say as pre-90's kits seem to be farily hard to come by this side of the pond but it's the first one I've seen up for sale that's for sure. This one is dated '87 as is the Hercules.
Thank You. I'm not a collector and I don't really buy rockets to resell. Just thought if someone needed it for their collection,I'ld sell it and just buy the newer one. Most likely Ill build it. Again, that's way I bought it in the first place before the new release came out.

Updated this design. Now it's ready for read and blue metallic topcoats. More decal printing, yay.

I see you have the stars on the correct end. In front of the direction of travel. I called my deuce "Deuces Wild Cherry" Stickershock did it up for me. That's going to like sweet! Nice pick of pigment.

Didn't even think of that aspect, but now I'm glad I did it that way. :) I have a co-worker here with a Cricut that's gonna help me make a bunch of white vinyl stars for the front. Whole thing should be finished.... in a couple of weeks I guess.

Bought some Rusto rattle can Hammered Copper and White paint for the Lifting Rocket. Perhaps the weather will cooperate. Old man winter is still holding on up here at 8,000 feet above sea level.

He's pretty slow and reluctant to let go here on the edge of the finger lakes, too. Low 20's the last two mornings with a dusting of snow on the ground yesterday. So I'm holding off on some painting too. (Hey, I've build some stuff and have things to paint! YAY!)

Finished applying decals to my Interceptor. Tomorrow clearcoat, and done.

The decals are what make the Interceptor the beauty that it is. I realize that. But I really, really wish I could learn other languages. Particularly Russian and Farsi, as it's my understanding that those are the most satisfying languages for CURSING. Those myriad delicate DON'T-stick-to-my-thumb-stick-to-the-model, NO-DO-NOT-ROLL-UNDER-YOURSELF!, I-had-you-where-I-wanted-you-WHY-DID-YOU-MOVE!?!, just-a-little-a-little-more-NO-MOVE-BACK-WHY WON'T-YOU-MOVE-BACK? waterslide decals are...not fun.

Verdammet and verdammet again,
Terry

Close to completing Joe Banard's take on the Rocket Lab Electron with his Signal 2 Altimeter / Thrust Vectoring Unit. This is my first venture into Scale and Joe provided a lot of 3D Printer files to help enhance the look of the rocket. If you are not familiar with Joe, he can be found at www.BPS.space.

My original rocket crash compilation video, released a year ago, somehow started making the rounds and is just now hitting 300,000 views. Due to its popularity, I decided to put together another crash compilation from the events I attended in 2018.

I purchased a Estes Star Orbiter, pack of F15-8 engines, and ordered some braided kevlar cord. It's been a few years.... Working on becoming a BARx2 :)

The Star Orbiter is a great kit. Welcome back!

Prepped a few rockets for SSS Spring Blast this weekend. Made another Eggfinder TX for my 3" Blackstar, the old one wouldn't get GPS lock. The Blackstar has 44 flights on it, I might need to tune it up a bit this summer.

My 1st attempt at "Paper-Skinning" a fin set! Looks like everything worked out OK .... Am in the "press while drying" phase right now .. will trim them tomorrow after they're good & dry! Wow !!! I should have used this method YEARS ago and saved all that sanding & filling! :):)

a dry iron (for clothing) works wonders for equalizing the moisture of fin sides (to flatten them if needed)
