What would be a good scale build that has not been done

After further research, I believe it to be 24" in diameter . . . I have seen lengths of 157" +/-.

The images can be scaled from that, at least for a semi-scale model.

Has anyone modeled the German V1 Buzz Bomb as a boost glider? The drag of the piggy-back engine may be the deterrent, but it would be a cool recovery.

This website is the SOURCE for the images of the Red, Black, White, & Yellow XMGM-140 I posted screenshots of above . . . ENJOY !.

Fairly detailed but they don't match anything I have seen.
assembly13crop.jpg

Details shown here that are missing in those renderings:
Command destruct blade antenna at top. There is second 180 degrees around.
C band (radar transponder) antenna. The round thing between two stripes. Again, there is a second one opposite.
S band telemetry antenna at lower right. Two more spaced 120 degrees apart.

With flight test colors it really ought to have the flight test hardware.

The trick in building a model of this is finding a suitable nose cone. I chose to bash a LOC I-Roc kit but the 5:1 ogive is very wrong although it helps stability which is a big plus. The Mini-Mag cone has a better length but doesn't have the VK profile.

Here is something Google turned up a while back: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:ATACMS_Recertification.jpg

This is in the production colors (primer) and is obviously a block 1A as you can see the GPS antenna on top. (Gray patch at base of nose.)

Ok folks, I’ve primarily lurked here on TRF for several years. I flew primarily Estes when I was kid back in the mid 70s. If I had any idea there was High power back then I would have been in big trouble! All of our launches were conducted from my back, or front yard. Miles of open space. Not any more.
My favorite rocket then was the Renegade, flown hundreds of times, trimmed numerous times and rebuilt a couple of times. I’ve since cloned one to fly on any of the D or larger size motors.
Have yet to launch it. I also have several other mid power builds in process.
I am in the Portland, OR area so would logically fly with the club there, but could also go out to the WA clubs or even Idaho’s Marsing launch site.
I decided to post here because I have been toying around with the idea of a 1/4 scale RIM 162 (or larger if the 1/4 scale works out!) I’ve done limited work in Open Rocket and also thought of seeking assistance from K-Tesh the OR Guru, and some mock ups using a BT 80 trying to figure out the best way to do the transition and strakelets.
In the mean time I am ready to purchase a Public Missiles AMRAAM4 with
CPR3k just so I can finally go out and get carted for L1 and then get as crazy as Mrs will let me. She doesn’t get it, and my son is still a little young to start being interested, Almost 5 YO, so I figure it should be soon that I can start him into it as well.

I, too, really liked the Renegade . . . With that said, check out the "Star Oribiter" !

Thanks Dave! If I didn’t already have so many plans to build, and work on my RIM 162, I would go for this one!
Then again it looks like a straight forward easy to build quick flier! I wonder if Mrs would notice another box in the mail?

The WVB Shuttle has been done by myself and others. I still think about it every now and then. I had mixed results and I still have the model. It is not a scale of a real operational rocket, but it does fit into the NAR competition scale as future/fiction scale. (The winged top stage is not helpful for model rockets, because it moves the CP forward.)
