I got choked up when those parachutes blossomed... a 60's flashback flooded my mind.. and no, there were no drugs involved either.

It was unmanned, but it is rated for manned spaceflight. The bit of trivia I thought was interesting about this recovery was this is the first US spacecraft recovery from the Atlantic in 50 years. Last one was Apollo 9 in 1969. All others were in the Pacific.

It did have a "crash test dummy" on board. So it was quasi-manned

Spacecraft designed for crew transport. The hyphen implies the utility of design.

can't wait to hear the media trying describe the first all female crew launch...
