Production is starting this weekend. We'll put it up when we have a good number ready. It would go against our core values if people would have to wait more than a couple business days after payment.

Would this officially be the largest Saturn V scale kit that can be purchased? 5 cluster is quite intriguing... :)

I think it’s great that LOC is offering this kit, and a good choice that they’re keeping it (somewhat) simple. If you want scale details, get the Sirius kit (which, BTW, is only about 10 lbs). If you want something a bit bigger, and a *lot* easier to build, this kit looks like it’ll be just the ticket. Looks like a fairly sturdy LES too. If it’s available in April, that’s 3 months to build for 7/20. (Hope to see some of these at the WOOSH launch that day!). The only downside to this kit is that it’ll make my 1:64 look a bit small :D

Any news on a rocksim file? It would help in planning motors, recovery, 3D printed details, etc. Lots of stuff to get a head start on if it's flying in July :)

Price has been listed: $535-$665 depending on options:

I ordered one! Anyone else? I likely won't get around to it for a while but hoping someone with more time will do a build thread

I'm still on the fence. Interested, but I already have too many Sat V kits. Maybe if I had a 3D printer to make/add the details I would be more tempted but I've not yet made that leap.

I also understand Madcow does plan to bring back the Polecat one.....

I ordered mine yesterday, I asked for a single 54 core setup with no side tubes to save weight in the rear, they need to modify the fin tabs for me. For the type of flying I do, in this weight/size, and especially a saturn, it will be fine for long 38's and medium 54's. Most big saturns I see take off much too fast for my taste and it just looks weird, but that's just me.

I have't bought a kit in a long time, and I've done the super scale saturn stuff before, but I thought this looked simple and robust, and I could fly it a lot and not worry about it, and with the stickershock decals included it seemed like a nice easy build.

Braden, I'll post a build thread/instructions beginning Monday.

Great idea Buddy. I ordered my kit already and was thinking these would be perfect. I like the look of three of them. I wonder what size to get if I want to use three?

If the rocket weighs 12 pounds than I’d recommend 3-4ft Chutes for a decent rates of 15fps, worst case is you over build it, weighing 18 pounds and than come down at 20fps. Also I’ll include a 3 point harness with your order.

Submitting the order now. Thanks...

Be careful there. I think 12 lbs is empty weight, without laundry or motor(s).

The largest "Semi-Scale" Saturn V kit . . .

A bit rich for me, but I am very intrigued. But if I could, I would have a tough choice which one to get. I know I would want the recovery and the electronics bay, But the cluster combo? Probably either the 75/38 or the 98/29 combo. Maybe I should ask Santa when Secret Santa starts again in a few months :p.

Got mine today. Really nice pack job. I opted for the 5x54mm and added the Ebay. I started going through the parts and it looks like a very high quality kit.

My credit card is coping a hammering the past couple of weeks :(. Just pushed the button on one of these. Ships next Tuesday :).

I might have to do some extra details on it, probably 3D printed. Has anyone else done any work on 3D printed details for this model?
