Blues Brothers "Shake a Tail Feather"
When I read Happy Song this was the first thing that came to mind . . .
That's awesome. Gotta love The Beach Boys. The first half hour with the surf/hot rod medley is the best part, and the Japanese crowd knows the words to the songs....
Thijs van Leer and Jan Akkerman, what a combination! This is Sylvia by Focus, 1972. Guaranteed most of you have never heard it before. The video is the studio recording over live imagery.
A Yes fan? You might find this interesting...That whole album - Close to the Edge - makes me happy. Has done ever since I first heard it when I was 14...

Signed by all of the YES personnel for CttE and TfTO. Roger Dean, who did the artwork of both, also signed. This is probably my favorite signed "trophy" of all. If there's any doubt to the authenticity, here's another photo. As for the shirt itself, I'm a big TfTO fan and I've seen them perform it.++ on the Roger Dean autograph on the bottom. YES has become a cover band of YES. Jon Davidson, IMNSHO, should have stayed in Glass Hammer. Jon Anderson should be at the helm vocally. And, yes, YES is not the same without Chris Squire. Losing Chris Squire in 2015, then Greg Lake in 2016 and then, John Wetton in 2017 is so sad.I was too broke to go to the REAL TfTO concert in 1974 (before Wakeman bailed), and I couldn't make the TfTO/Drama redux in 2017. It probably wouldn't have been the same without Anderson, Wakeman, and Squire anyway. There's so much going on in that album that you can listen to it a zillion times and still hear stuff that you didn't know was there.
And you left out Keith Emerson.YES has become a cover band of YES. Jon Davidson, IMNSHO, should have stayed in Glass Hammer. Jon Anderson should be at the helm vocally. I was just thinking bassists. Yes, Emerson was a tragic loss. I've seen 500+ bands live, many as a repeat attender, and I've met so many of the greats. Sadly, I've never been one to get my photo taken with them. I have that YES group photo because there was somebody taking group photos, so my wife and I stepped up. I have a couple of candids my wife too when I was speaking with Marillion. Other than that, I've just never bothered. I last saw Wetton with District 97 at the NJ Prog House Homecoming gig -- an intimate small setting where my wife and I sat right in frount of John. They performed Starless and Bible Black, one of my favorite KC albums. Wetton and I have a mutual friend in the UK, so I always thought that I'd have time to get a photo with him if I ever wanted to. Sadly, I never will. Emerson headlined a NEARfest. While I spoke with him at length, I was busy handling broadcasting issues when others were getting photos with him. Another chance gone. And you left out Keith Emerson.
True, Yes has no original member left (Anderson, Bruford, Squire, Kaye, Banks) or (with the exception of Steve Howe) even the classic line-up (Anderson, Bruford, Squire, Wakeman).
