OK..... yes. Scott U closed years ago and has been trying to sell it ever since. NO coincidence at all.

That would explain why I wasn't familiar with all the rigmarole with the ownership of BSD. It predates my return to active BAR by 7 years.Heres an old thread about the sale of BSD from whoever Mark Saunders ( I think he bought it from Scott Binder) to Scott Ulrey. See posts 26 and 27 in link below.

That explains why he's taking the unconventional route of using eBay for the sale of his business assets. Thanks for enlightening us.OK..... yes. Scott U closed years ago and has been trying to sell it ever since. NO coincidence at all.

I'm talking about the eBay listing.
See blackjack's post above (#31). Apparently he's been trying to sell the business through conventional means for some years now, to no avail. And a successful bidder would have to commit to pay upfront, without a contract, sight unseen. 3 red flags there. At the very least I would have a lawyer research the title and any liens on the business, then I would look at the assets in person and physically inspect them, and draw up a contract. This guy hasn't even posted any pictures other than a few kit face card shots. Thanks, but no thanks.Meh. Maybe. While I totally understand why many people have a healthy distrust of Ebay and its ilk, it does have certain advantages in how broadly someone can "cast the net" and get the word out to a wide audience. That large a microphone is hard to find anywhere else without spending a lot more money, so while I can understand your hesitancy, I can also completely understand why legitimate vendors would want to post such a thing there.

That is the down payment. Read the whole thing, buyer is expected to pay a total of 30k.Price is now 10k OBO.
I agree 100% with Don if your not interested in buying the Co. Why worry about it. It's not your business.Price is now 10k OBO.
On the fusionrocket.biz Facebook page Scott Binder says that they were selling Diablos, Horizons. Thors, and Intrepids up until a few days ago, when they cleared them all out. Yet the eBay pictures show those rocket face cards. So who really owns the kit names and designs? Most of what you are paying for is the name and kit designs.
Jim, I bought a cloud a while back from one of your competitors but have been having some issues with it as of late. Can you please help me fix my cloud under their warranty? Seems I stare at them too long and motors don't appear as they originally stated when I purchased it. Funny you claim the same thing. I wonder if there is anything fishy here???
Jim, I too bought a cloud form your competitor. My little girl tripped on a mirage, and fell into the cloud. Turns out it was just a big pile of candy floss. You probably forgot to wear your "rose" colored sunglasses while viewing.
Be sure they are "polarized" for M motors.
No to pay intellectual rights to the designers, if your not buying why even care and 3K for part tells me you are lacking a ton of info, Try 200 4" NC and 200 3" NC, even at 10 dollars each , thats 4K just in Nose Cones alone. I think if your not buying or asking the owner about what stock comes with it, your just being a PC pain. I have all doc's, drawings, designs, copy's of all agreements from Scott to Mark to Scott, instruction, decal artworks. I have it all!!! I don't know all the stock, just the highlights. This thread is just a BIG waste of time. It should be removed.
