Free to you is the original instructions, art card, and hang tag for the infamous VB (Vaughn Brother) Extreme 54. No real scratch build data to gather, as there are no fin taves ect. so this pacvkage is offered for the collector in mind.

If you are an old roceteer like me, you would wish that Baughn Brothers Rocketry was still around. Very nice craft tubing kits with G10 fins... The Good Ole Days

Hang tag and 38 to 54mm motor adaptor instructions...

11X17 Fin placement and alignment guide (VB Extreme 54 was minimum dia rocket)...

Kit Contents... an average cloner could easily recreate this nostalgic kit...

I'll take it if still available. Probably as close to one as I'll ever get.

I am, and got in touch with Dragon64. I want to clone it too. :)

These were nice kits back in the day, really hated to see this small company go away. My favorite rocket of Vaughn Brothers Rocketry was the 2.6" Javelin. I got my NAR L1 on a Javelin back in 1997.

I hear the 38mm Motor Mount Adapter had an integrated tailcone as well .. very cool !

I also love the 2.6" Javelin. Mine has over 50 flights on it. A little beat up but overall still going. I have a 4" Javelin still sealed in the box. Just can't bring myself to build it,
yet. Still has the sticker (139.00) on it.

I have a Ton of VB rockets and a bunch of the instructions. Grampa Vaughn used to live 10 mins from my house ( kits were kitted in Vista Ca not Paso Robles ) we used to go over on weekends and help so I ended up with a few kits that didn't make it to the public. The Extreme VB line of rockets were hard to fly on minimum dia motors because of there weren't long enough delays available for the rockets. We put an Ellis Mntn L330 in a VB 54 hybrid for an amazing flight till it hit the speed of cardboard at over 7000 + ft I made patterns of a few of the fins & such

Whatever happened to VBR?
Discount Rocketry had a substantial inventory of Vaughn Brothers parts a few years ago. Looks like they sold all of it off except these:

EDIT: After doing a little digging it looks like VBR MIGHT have been acquired partially or in whole by ModelRockets.us. The VBR Blobbo and Stretch Blobbo are now being sold under the ModelRockets.us badge. And ModelRockets and Discount Rocketry are run by the same family, I believe. But many ModelRockets kits have not been in stock for a long time on the Discount Rocketry website, so I don't know if they are still an ongoing company. I've been wanting to get my hands on their mid power HoJo for a long time.
EDIT #2: I found out that ModelRockets.us is a division of Discount Rocketry. And it appears that at least some of the Vaughn Brothers parts may have been renamed under the ModelRockets.us badge.

And ModelRockets.us is an ongoing company, but seems to be focusing more on the low power and bulk pack kits. Mid power kits seem to be mostly OOP.
