Who will be there? First launch of the year at Bong!

Not sure what I'll be flying yet... probably just some smaller stuff.

I plan on attending. It’s been around 6 months since I’ve flown anything. Gonna watch the weather a bit more to determine what I’ll be flying and motor sizes.

Cold doesn’t bother me much. Definitely gonna fly CTI or single use though. Not much fun for me assembling motors in Wisconsin winters. The unpredictable winds are usually my nemesis. Followed closely by low clouds.

January is WI, holy crap that is cold.

Preliminary forecast shows -6F as the low, 10F as the high.

On the plus side, if CharlesMcG has the winery open, he has several ways of purchasing liquid warming medicine.

I shiver just thinking about it.

And NOAA forecasts a 9mph wind.

I’ll be at the winery working on prepping for CiderCon and maybe pumping some whiskey around. If I can get the compressor running in that cold. Rocketeers are welcome to come warm up.

I need some rail guides, so I might be briefly seen in Tim’s trailer.

There's a chance I'll be in the area on Saturday.

If so, I plan to fly 4", 5.5", and 7.5" birds. Fingers crossed!

Due to inclement weather and panicking customers(snow removal), I have to work tomorrow... Hopefully I'll stay inside (no guarantee)...
Set my sights on QCRS for Sunday instead.

Turns out there is another force that can keep me from a launch- staff not showing up for there shift and getting called in to work. ☹️

-28 below zero kept me home today. Did Tim make the trip. I hope you guys purchased a lot to at least pay for his fuel.

Tim was there, at least in the morning. I picked up my black Saturday order and went back to the winery- worked my butt off for the next 9 hours.
