Terrible calls. That was not ruffing the passer. Looks like NE is destined.

Blargh. So tired of looking at the Pats.

KC played great though...I'm sure they'll be in the running again next year. Mahomes has learned a lot this season.

Let me just say - what a wonderful football Sunday this was!
Two evenly matched Conference championship games that both went into overtime... possibly for the first time ever.

A few questionable ref calls here in there, a few bone-headed game-changing penalties, but overall, a thoroughly enjoyable football Sunday!

The Saints were completely hosed by by the refs with the no interference call. That game should have never gone to overtime.

And I HATE the NFL's overtime rules!

I completely agree. The Rams should have been hit with a penalty that would have effectively ended the game, but the refs were blind to what everyone else in the world saw clear as day.

And yeah the idea of "if you score a TD on your opening OT drive you win" is complete BS. Each team should get an equal go at it. "Win by coin toss" is BS.

2004 Red Sox? Lunar Eclipse.
2019 Patriots? Lunar Eclipse.

Coincidence? I think not!

To all you Patriots haters out there, at least they didn't dub themselves "America's Team" as a certain other hated team did....

If patterns are worth anything in sports, Alabama just lost the championship to Clemson, and the last time that happened the Patriots won the bowl

Two great divisional championship games, probably the best I've ever seen. Overshadowed by blown calls.
Saints fans, you have my condolences. Youz guyz wuz robbed.
Roughing the passer which kept the Pats drive going was a bad call. But so was the numerous instances of holding by the Chiefs' secondary which never got called. I think it evened out. Two brilliant quarterbacks.
Hope the refs get it together for the Super Bowl. Cheers.

At least you could watch the games, and the lunar eclipse, and still get to bed at a reasonable hour...

The Saints got robbed! Now there is a lawsuit. Wow! I don't think it will do anything but at least some one is standing up for all the fans that feel a injustice has been served!

Hey Whitney I feel your pain. The saints got robbed. I think the Chiefs did to but not to the point the saints did. Sorry about the saints. The NFL and the usa wanted the Chiefs vs. Rams. Would of been a great game. Maybe in 2020

I hope we can get to a point where games aren't obviously influenced by the officials. The technology has outpaced the officiating to the point where anyone in the world can see a bad call excepts the refs. This won't stand up long. Personally I'm all for reviewing any play that warrants a review. It's better to be right than to be quick, even if it drags the game out.

They lost me at "No Clear Recovery" on the opening kickoff fumble of the Eagles/Cowboys game on 12/9.

I'm sure they are doing research into finding that balance. People have short attention spans these days, and spending five minutes watching a ref stare into a box gets old. But, teams losing games due to bad calls gets old, too.

Don't worry, the Saints won the lawsuit and justice will be served.
Rematch on the date below

I saw on one of yesterday's morning news shows that there is a clause in the NFL rules that allows the commissioner to intervene and have a game replayed from the point of the aggriegious action, whatever it might be. So that poster might not be so far fetched. But then Goodell would either have all the Saints fans hating his guts, or all the Rams fans. So.....
Ain't gonna happen, Baby!
