The Alamo Rocketeers, NAR#661 is hosting a family-friendly NAR model rocket and HPR launch at the South Texas Regional Airport at Hondo on January 26, 2019 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Rocketeers of all ages and levels of experience are welcome. The FAA waiver is 13,500 feet and K is the impulse limit unless you bring your own launch equipment. Commercial motors only and no research motors. This is an active airport and ALL direction signs must be followed especially those near the active runway. When approaching the runway all traffic must stop and not proceed until directed by airport safety personnel. We will take a 15 minute break at 11AM for a Safety briefing and other announcements. The "debrief" is at El Restuarante Azteca on K Street in Hondo immediately after the launch. Sign up for this launch on our Facebook page
