question for the Centuri Fans

I have attached a photo comparing the Estes and Centuri Payloader 2 kits .

My question is about the Centuri version. The balsa nose block in the Centuri Kit is 1.5 inches long.
That will give you .75 inches to insert in the clear payload section and main body tube . I have read where the clear playload tube is only 2.5 inches long .

In the photo of the Centuri Kit

(if you assume there is .75 inches of balsa nose block extending inside of the
clear section)

And use that as a measurement then 2 times the balsa nose block should be over 1/2 the distance of the
length of the clear section .

Does anyone have a Centuri Payloader 2 kit to measure the clear section for me ?

I know the Estes Payloader 2 version has a 4 inch clear section

I've got mine from the late 70's still. I'll try to get some measurements tonight. I'm pretty sure it's longer than 2.5, though.

Should be able to. There might be some already on this forum, as someone asked about dims on the roll pattern a while back.

It is, in fact, exactly 2.5" long. I'm in CO, by the way.

My Centuri Payloader had a 3.5-inch long clear payload section. Both 2.5- and 3.5-inch long clear payload tubes are correct for the Payloader II. The Payloader II also came with two different (balsa and plastic) kinds of nose cones.
