I've been carrying this rocket around with me for a while thinking I'd finish it some day but haven't had time and would like to free up space. The rocket isn't quite complete yet, still needs AV bays, top section for the sustainer (if you want to use a 42+" case), motor retention, recovery, and a few minor finishing touches as well. It's a 114mm booster to a 98mm sustainer. All carbon is IM-7 grade 5.7 oz cloth laid up with Aeropoxy 2032 resin, booster airframe is 1/8" thick (forget how many wraps) and the sustainer has 3 wraps over phenolic 98mm tubing. Fins were cut from 1/8" carbon plate, are secured to the airframes using Cotronics high temp epoxy followed by Aeropxy ES6279 epoxy and have several layers of carbon layups. Comes with a 114mm case machined with snap ring grooves (nozzles and forward closure included too). I'll include more dimensions below, asking $950. PM me if you're interested, I'm located in southern CA, would prefer local pickup but can also do shipping for additional cost.

Booster Dimensions:
Airframe = 75.5" long, 114mm
Fins = 15.75" root, 5.75" span, 13.5" sweep
114mm case = 52 7/16" long (uses 98mm phenolic airframe for liner), nozzle throats = 1.375" and 1.386"

Sustainer Dimensions:
Airframe = 48" long, 98mm
Fins = 12" root, 4.5" span, 10.5" sweep
Nosecone = 5:1 L/D + 5" shoulder

Just wow.
I wish I lived anywhere close to where this baby could stretch its legs ...
(or had enough staging knowledge and experience to have a go at this)

Whomever buys this - please do a build thread!

That's an incredible price. If only I had money...and time to travel....

My plan was to use forward retention for both booster and sustainer motors. Both booster and sustainer will need a bulkplate installed to mount the forward retention rod to, I didn't get this far. I was planning to use a 5 grain Mostly Missiles case in the sustainer but since the bulkplates haven't been installed you could still use a case of any length in theory (note, the sustainer motor case is not included, only the booster case and hardware).
