Any guesses if/how much the proximity (20 miles) to all the air traffic at Ft. Campbell will impact your ability to get a waiver?
No idea. I brought it up at the first meeting at the new field and apparently it's something that has already been considered or addressed by MC^2. We'll have to see.

Fly my L2 cert attempt rocket
Learn rocketry electronics (building a classic 3" airframe for that)
Get back into scratch building

Goal #1 - Actually make it to a launch. Preferably one that involves more than just me.

Goal #2 - Launch a rocket that I've built in the last ten years but have not flown yet.

Main goal is to certify L1.

I've taken the first steps and joined NAR and I have a 3" LOC Athena with a 38mm motor mount upgrade about 90% complete, so I guess I'm on my way.

2018 didn't work out as planned so there's some holdover.
I I've about reached the limit of rockets my apartment can support, so it may be time to relax, fly for awhile, and involve myself in other club stuff.

--Fly Vertigo II (electronic Ventris) on an H
--Fly Fissile Missile (electronic Argent) on an H
--Fly Broncbuster III (Scion to Leviathan refit), on an H And Don't Lose It.......
--Fly School'd Rocket on all eight Pro24 6grains
--Build the 4" Phoenix I got in SS '17, fly it at least once
~-Build the GBI mk24 and see if induction stabilization scales up
--Create solid model of Pro Series Patriot and make a parts drawing pdf package before I build it (not signing up to build it this year!)
--Either build the SS'18 Astron Explorer, or a dual deploy convertible Star Orbiter with 1/32 basswood skinned fins

**Bonus round: Do not lose Rockets!**

Since I met all of my 2018 goals in one weekend, and only attended three launches, my goals for 2019 are a little more interesting...

1. Fly my first L
2. Officially start the build on my L3 project
3. Fly the L3 project at least twice (one shakedown flight, then hopefully cert attempt)
4. Attend at least 5 high power launches
5. build and fly more low power
6. HAVE FUN!

Mine are simple. To try to launch a rocket every month. To launch my MegaNuk, which has been built since August but hasn't had agreeable weather, and to launch my Formula 200 on the N motor that has been in my garage since March.

Also, to get my vacuum pump set up and make my first M motor with a minimum of help.

do more dual deploy launches..
get more comfortable with the quantum..
keep better records or my flights / flight day! :D

Personal goals:
1. Finish my L3 project
2. Finally get my Nike-Apache off the ground
Rocket Club goals:
1. Help other people in the club get L1 and L2 certified
2. Find a field where we can fly that's less than 3.5 hours away
3. Get funding for IREC for next year

2019 will be the year of rocketry electronics for me. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this year.

1. Fly dual deploy at every high power launch I attend (preparing for a L3 attempt in 2020).
2. Track a rocket via GPS at every high power launch I attend.
3. Practice electronic staging with LPR and MPR rockets.
4. Build a thrust vectored rocket using the BPS Signal R2 flight computer.

* Attend my first HARA meeting in more than 10-years
* Attend and fly at a launch (more than 5-years since last flight)
* Finish multiple rockets (clearing the build pile)
* Build the Binder Design Raptor
* Build the Rocketry Warehouse/Madcow Terminator
* 3D print more rocket related items
* Build more motors for the Binder hardware I have
* Fly my hybrids

My Rocketry was nearly nill last year due to new job.
They will still be light this year but here they are

1. Launch my big QCC on an N
2. Launch my MD 54 had it for 4 years and never flown
3. Complete my Super Batray
4. Attend one big launch - either Midwest Blast or QCRS
5. Attend NARAM in Muncie

Do it!

I've been increasing my fleet of L1 and L2 rockets as well as my array of CTI hardware in 29, 38, and 54mm with the goal of racking up launches and building experience. I plan to build AV bays for the first time for two of my 4" DD-capable rockets and get some experience there before even considering a shot at L3.

build my 4" V2 rocket that #2 son bought for me 2 years ago and stuff the biggest 54MM motor in it possible (5 grains, maybe 6). Will require a super duper custom donut av bay with redundant altimeters and a tracker. Will be a really tight fit.

2018 was a good year, as I finally got back into the hobby. It had been years since I had done anything model related, and after moving into the new house I finally had a place to indulge myself in balsa, plastic and paint fumes!

We look forward to 2019 to the Apollo 11 anniversary. Back in 2003 we attended the First Flight celebration at Kitty Hawk, NC and it was fantastic. Hoping being close to Marshall SFC that the Apollo celebration will be on the same level.

We also plan to continue building and hopefully flying some this year. To try and keep our writing skills up we started a blog that went live on the 1st. We'll see how that one plays out. From our view portal, 2019 is looking to be a pretty good year.

--Fly Vertigo II (electronic Ventris) on an H Never got around to this
--Fly Fissile Missile (electronic Argent) on an H. I did it! H133 Blue Streak
--Fly Broncbuster III (Scion to Leviathan refit), on an H And Don't Lose It....... I did this! H53 Mellow
--Fly School'd Rocket on all eight Pro24 6grains. Mostly did this. G150 Blue Streak and G145 Pink to go
--Build the 4" Phoenix I got in SS '17, fly it at least once. I did! J150 Mellow
~-Build the GBI mk24 and see if induction stabilization scales up. I built it.....requires further analysis
--Create solid model of Pro Series Patriot and make a parts drawing pdf package before I build it (not signing up to build it this year!) That's pretty much done!
--Either build the SS'18 Astron Explorer, or a dual deploy convertible Star Orbiter with 1/32 basswood skinned fins. Didn't get there...

**Bonus round: Do not lose Rockets!** So far so good, Just took a little damage on Long Tom and sat on a Crossfire

Well I failed pretty miserably. LOL leaves more goals for 2020

1. Fly my Level one rocket successfully. It’s been built and ready for a November launch but all the HP launches keep getting canceled due to weather. success
2. Fly Dual Deploy ready for 2020
3. BP two stage almost ready for 2020
4. Three APCP F or G motor cluster so far off, maybe 2021
5. Possibly Level 2 in the fall good chance for 2020
6. Build 20 kits. 8 high power and 12 low power. almost success
7. Solder more electronics. maybe success. some soldering done might even be more than 2018
8. Fly more. More total impulse not necessarily more flight numbers. success
9. Buy not more than 10 more rocket kits. failed
10. APCP two stage. fairly far off
11. Mile high. maybe 2020
12. Mach 1 probable 2020

Finally fly my ten year old air-start project (almost complete)

Fly my old L3 rocket "Lead Sled" one more time

edit; Just realized I posted this in the wrong year. (took a few days to catch it....but I'm old)
