I opened mine this morning, and inside was a fiberglass Madcow Mini Black Brant II!! It was shipped straight from Madcow, and I can't even begin to guess who it is from, so I will just say THANK YOU SS!!

I'm going to try and get it built before the next club launch Jan 5, so it won't stay unbuilt for long.

Got a Formula 54. My favorite flyer. Now I have one to use my lab rat nose cone avbay sled with. Thanks SS. I'm guessing somewhere on the west coast. Gonna make a guess and say Emckee.

Thanks to my secret Santa! I got a 24-40 case, a Quantum, and a parachute that will work very nicely with my next project. My guess is Weetie11...

Thanks, and Merry Christmas!
Chris
Twas not me. Great haul though! Merry Christmas!

Opened mine this morning to find a wrapped box and a bag of Hot Cocoa Kisses inside!! I unwrapped the box to find an Estes Little Joe II. I have been wanting one of these for a long time!! Love those scale kits!! And who doesn't love bonus candy. 1225181221a.jpg A huge thank you to my Secret Santa! Merry Christmas to all!!

Firstly, Thank you Secret Santa!!!

The gift I received has been on my wish list since 1975. Seriously!

Tada....
Mars Lander-Small.jpg

A MARS LANDER!!!!!!!!!

The stack of parts belies the complexity of this kit. This will be the single most challenging build I have ever undertaken. SWEET! :p

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Opened my box this Morning to fine the More Rockets Alien Explorer!!! goes straight to the bench and jumps the line .
Want d to build this one since the original came out in the 80s.
Thanks Secret Santa.

Also..... A very big THANK YOU to Papa Elf for organizing SS. I would also like to thank ; Aerotech, ARS, Art Applewhite, Estes and Pemberton Technologies for my Secret Santa special drawing prize.

I will be busy for a long time. Looks like I have about 18 kits to keep me busy.

Merry Christmas TRF.1225181011.jpeg

Again this year my wife and I decided not to exchange gifts and get something practicial for the home. I was feeling kind of blue this year as it took some of the excitment out of Christmas. My secret santa and his gift snuffed out any doldrum feelings away. I am completely humbled and blown away at the generosity of my secret santa sponsor. I recieved a ******, 2.6" Rim-66 LOC rocket kit. Thank you for making this a very special Christmas.

I appreciate you Papa Elf for managing this wonderful event and have no idea how hard it is to manage the specifics on top of regular life activities this time of year. We have a truly magical place here in the forums, not only at Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone! I am looking forward to 2019.

I agree thank you Papa Elf for all your efforts.
And thanks to all on here for the advice and camaradarie all year!!!!

There was a bit of confusion here, as a day or two before Christmas, an unmarked package arrived from Eggtimer Rocketry... as i mentioned earlier, my birthday tends to coincide with black friday sales as well, so i frequently get late birthday gifts that sometimes get mixed up with SS gifts!

As of this morning, i figured out that the Eggtimer was a late b-day gift from my sister, and the big cardboard box was from my SS (or at least nobody else has claimed it)!

Opened the big brown box to find a Loc Ultimate... holy smokes, SS! I am constantly amazed and impressed by the generosity of my fellow rocketeers! Looks like i need to modify my planned reload purchases towards more 29mm hardware and reloads! Clusters here we come! OROC look out!

Now i will just need to find someone willing to RSO a seven motor APCP cluster...

Mooohahahahahaha

It is a tradition in my family we open gifts from others (meaning friends and extended family) on Christmas Eve. So I took my package over to my wife's families house and opened it there. I was flabbergasted. A wish list, where any one of the items would be FINE, however to say this was over the top is putting it mildly. Thank you!

Soo, what did you get?

I was good and didn't open my gift early. A NCR Lance Delta and a Super Big Bertha, well worth waiting for. Thank you Secret Santa, thank you Papa Elf!

Soo, what did you get?
Everything. One of EVERY rocket on my wish list. (No Quest D motors, I did not expect them - they seem to be quite rare).

Flip Flyer , Red Nova, Expedition, SLV, Explorer Aquarius, Astron Explorer, Quinstar

That is OVER THE TOP (with deployment)!!
Like I said, thank you Santa wherever you are.

A HUGE Thank you to SS. I don't know how you were able to get a Madcow Bomarc since it has been out of stock forever. I was seriously not expecting it. Thank you, you made my Christmas.

Dont think i explicitly sais it, but THANK YOU! To my Secret Santa!

Well my suspicions were correct. Fiberglass on fiberglass. I got a Madcow 2.6" fiberglass Goblin. This rocket has been on my SS wish list every time I participate and also on my own personal gotta get list for years. Finally have it! Thank you Secret Santa. I am going to enjoy this little rocket.

So who are you? I have guessed right all but once I think...

EvryThngIsAOk .. ..
Is it you?

Merry Christmas folks. :)

I have to join the choir of members with an exceptionally generous SS. I feel this forum is more of a family than any other and 'breaks the internet mold' in the best way possible.

my only regret is not being able to be as generous.

Thank you Ss for making a great Christmas a hit better
