What happened to the thread about Vendor Holiday Sales?

I cant find that thread anywhere, what happened to it?

I have a pretty good idea.

Yep - looks like it got deleted. I started the thread and it no longer shows up under "My Threads".
I was concerned when I started it that since it would reference non-paying vendors there would be an issue, but it seemed to hang in there for a while.
I guess that since most of the sales have ended they decided to eliminate the free advertising it provided

On the one hand I understand this is a business and they need an income to provide the service, but it is still a shame that this sort of benefit to their customers is compromised...

I was using that thread to keep track of some stuff. So it not only hurts the vendor it hurts me. And I did pay my money to the site owners. Now my posts are gone.

And this thread will go the same way because it has the appearance of being critical about how the forum is managed. Can't have that here.

My assumption was more mundane. I assumed that it was deleted because Black Friday was over. Let me check and see, if so i can put it back.

I checked. It wasn't as mundane as I'd hoped. It started innocently, I think, as a discussion of who was having sales but a number of unregistered vendors started posting sales contrary to the rules. Ultimately there were so many posts that needed to be removed that the mods simply deleted the entire thread. Pretty much all of the approved vendors who are having sales have listed them in the vendor forum. Sorry folks.

OK, so John, can you (or someone) provide the list of vendors with sales? I still need to shop & would rather not ping each & every vendor "are you having a TRF S/S sale?"

Most of the sales were "Black Friday sales". Check the Vendor forum.
