I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to add another vote to the idea of only displaying a subset of rockets at any one time. Heck, that's what museums do; usually the collection on display is a small fraction of what's stored away.

You can rotate the models on display, or just keep your favorites out, or whatever.

Although my collection is comparatively small (<20), I have already identified which rockets are going into boxes when I run out of my limited display space. Or maybe I'll give them away, who knows. All rockets do not have equal value and or meaning to me; the fun of building new ones is far greater than the need to see all of them all the time.

In general, I would certainly not let the inability to display an arbitrarily large collection dissuade you from enjoying the hobby.
