Hey,
I got a 80% built kit recently, with no instructions, but does seem complete. Was wondering if anyone has a source for the build instructions so I can go over everything.
I have seen Cahn's build on rocketreviews.

Thanks,
Mark

Hey Mark,

I actually have the SHR Shuttle buried in my closet that I ordered from Red Arrow a few years back. If no one else can help, give me a week or so and I'll photocopy and snail-mail them to you.

Only condition is that you have to seriously consider posting pics of what you've got and do a "finishing the build" thread. ;)

Best,
Ken

Hey Ken, pics posted. :)
Can you post what you have too? (its if not too much trouble/unsealed already)
I have never had a Sheri's hot rocket, the kit looks decently built, not sure of the age of this. It has ULINE brand tubes. This could be a clone for all I know. The foam is pretty rough and has been coated/filled by previous owner, but not perfect/complete. I don't have a remote for it or battery. The flaps on the shuttle will need to be re-taped. Its weird too, there was an existing chute protector in, it came with a spent G79-4W, so no idea if it has flown before. There were a few pieces of dog barf in it as well.

You've Spektrum electronics. Those are usually pretty good. You probably will need a Spektrum transmitter. I remember Rocket Reviews complained about the rough tube. I, too, would like to see how this project turns out. Too bad that the kit is no longer offered.

Ya, its a 2.4ghz DSM. I will have to get a matching transmitter and a small lipo which won't bee too hard. Like the review said, it's pretty heavy. It has a 29mm motor mount, there is no baffle/stop. so G80 or larger if I do ever fly it.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for sharing the pics of the kit! Looks more than 80% to me and I'm pretty sure it was launched already (good sign that it's hard to tell for sure).

Here's pics of my kit as well as the final pages of the instructions...this is actually quite a hefty document with 50 pages!

Box was a bit "crunched" with some small damage to the foam pieces but nothing too terrible.

*Update* - Since pics didn't post, here are the links:
