They are finally available, the new Q-Jet D16 . Come get them at https://www.csrocketry.com/rocket-motors/aerotech-rocketry/motors/q-jet-motors.html#2
Yes, they are gen1 so the non bulk packs will likely need labels pealed.

I believe they are shipping gen 2, and the bulk packs have no labels as is.Beat me to it, I was going to ask, its a great deal for those who can muster a bit of time to peel the labels... So on that note, have the gen 2 motors shipped to dealers yet? I got two one off pack to replace some early generation ones from Chuck and Karl, with a date code of 8/31 so was wondering if these had shipped out?
So the disoucnted bulk packs are the gen1? still at that price I might breakout the goo gone
Just updated the sale price on these. Better deal now!! This is still for Gen 1 cases. The 2 packs will likely need to be pealed but the bulk packs have no labels on them.
I flew some in a new wizard with no issues, so I really think it's only an issue on older/used motor tubes that have swollen a little. The labels pealed easy for others that had to do so.Wow that a ridiculous deal on the 25 packs, have You tried sticking one into an estes motor mount tube?
Picked up a couple packs of the gen 2 motors really digging the B4-4 in my park flyers.
Still have some gen 1 b4s that I can’t get to fit, but haven’t tried them after removing the labels though been busy and out of goo gone
Both have to stay below the nfpa max temp on the case.Do the cases of these motors get hotter than the standard BP motors? I tried an Apogee composite propellant D-motor in a Cox plastic Shuttle America and it melted the plastic badly.
