URRG Oct 20th & 21st Potter NY 18K

Hi Team. Come join the fun next weekend. I will get in Friday and be camping at lucky charm Friday and Saturday night. He still has the showers and bathrooms open. I just picked up a really nice 3 in one military sleeping bag for 90 bucks at knob creek this weekend cant wait to test it out. Hope to see you there.

Mike you should come camp. I do have extra bags and I think a tent. I think there's a few others going to tent it as well. The three in one might get a little funnier then my taste. LOL

Hi Team. I wasn't able to make it today but heard it was a great day. At the end of the day it started raining and the weather looks bad for tomorrow Sunday so we decided to cancel tomorrows launch Oct 21. Hope to see everyone next month.

Saturday Oct 20 A.M. was spectacular. I posted a picture on my Facebook page of the clear sky and mostly harvested fields. in did darken up as the day progressed. It started to rain just as the remaining crew came off the field. A DEC officer pulled in to the field, as I approached the officer I pointed to Riley and said it was his fault.... he had found a booster to a two stage rocket being towed down the road by the parachute..we took a selfie with him. Thank you DEC. The 12" booster that was lost at URRF5 was found by the farmer. wow that was heavy.

On the whole, the day was much better than forecast. Still a bit breezy - and the winds changed direction throughout the day. But we still had a bunch of flights, plus a bunch of L1 cert flights. I had my most flights in one day so far this season (7).
