I am a new member from El Dorado KS. Happy to be here.

Hello Steven, Welcome. I hope you are aware you have one of the finest clubs, with one of the highest waivers in the country within striking distance. If not, go here (https://www.kloudbusters.org/), and prepare for blown mind.

I'm new to model rocketry, I used to do it as a kid with scouts, and now that I am one of the leaders, and we do not do many events outside of an annual campout and the pinewood derby races, I am starting an event here for the kids. So, I'm building a 10 rail launcher, and launch controller, and have invited the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts out to a free launch event in November.

I invite you to attend our October launch scheduled for this coming weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) down on the Rocket Pasture just south of Argonia, KS. The waiver will be open 9AM to 5PM both days. Simply type “Rocket Pasture” into Google Maps and it will give you directions to the flying field.
