I just placed an order for some nice G12 tubing from a rocketry vendor.
What?!?! Is stealth6 gonna start building and flying again?
Sadly, no. I'm still in "I used to fly rockets" mode for the foreseeable future.
So, why did I just buy some nice 2.6" filament wound airframe?
Well, I'm building a pair of new stage monitor speakers (I do live sound), and I needed a few lengths of a certain sized tubing for tuned ports. So, where does my mind go when I'm thinking "what can I use for this?" Yep, I thought of rocket airframe.
Some things become ingrained, don't they?
