Has anyone seen this with an F15-6? Watched hopelessly as my 80’s decorated Super Big Bertha nose over on its first flight. IMG_0878.jpgIMG_0879.jpg

Lucky for you it's an Estes motor and an Estes kit. Email customer service, they'll probably send you a new kit. I'm thinking defective motor, so maybe a new motor too. Good luck.

This happens rarely but you can get a weak ejection charge like this, the clay cap tells the story. Sometimes you can get a very strong or "shotgun" ejection charge as well. Only once out of two thousand motors I have used has an ejection charge not taken place and left the clay cap fully intact.
