Thur,Fri,Sat - have to be back to work on Sunday... meh... But hey 3 days out there!!! Am registered and signed up for volunteering, will get some launches in and just enjoy!!!
Need to finish a couple more and get them painted... so many rockets, so little time...

UROC President Neal Baker sent out an email yesterday urging Hellfire-23 attendees to check the website before coming out to Hellfire-23 on the Bonneville Salt Flats for possible cancellation. The website can be found on the first post of this thread or here:

I imagine the concern is that the monsoons coming up from Arizona might reach the Salt Flats and cause some flooding on the flats. So far we have not seen any appreciable rain here in Brigham City, but on rare occasions the monsoons reach the flats.

This concern aside I know 2 members who have built an experimental O-motor. I'm assuming that they will be launching on Saturday, Aug. 4th, the most heavily attended day, but I don't know for sure.

I hope not, hotel is booked... hate to just use my time in the casino instead... I would see my money go up in smoke on the salt flats instead... haha
Box Elder County needs its own range for those of us up here... ;)

Am working on a bulk pack of Estes Vikings for the TIFI (take-it, fly-it) event, which I think will be fun. HobbyLobby had a pack in Logan and with the 40% discount coupon! 3F are 80% assembled, need to figure paint schemes for them all... Started 4F tonight, then finish with the 5F designs...

Bummer of scheduling - NARAM 60 is the same weekend. Staying closer to home....

More power to you Paladin. I am planning to take to 2 old, but still in good shape LPR's, for the Fly-IT/Take-It activity.

Wish I could have made this one on my way to naram, but I have to run a military rifle/pistol match saturday morning, will have to do a 6 hour drive from oregon to boise, then a 13 hour the next day to get to naram by monday morning so I can do a demo flight on one of the 15 second burn G12 motors in my upscale Orion Starliner RC RG since Gary is flying back monday night.

Frank

Frank, I would have loved to have met you in person. I still feel bad about not making it to NARCON this past year. It sounds like you have a very busy schedule. Let us know how the G12 demo flight goes. A 15 second burn sounds fantastic.

12 vikings almost ready for the TIFI, hum, does that make it a raiding party of vikings? horde? Where is the longships? Just need to spray paint the second color on them...
