I'm thinking about ordering this one. I don't see any reviews on Rocketreviews.com Has anyone bought, built, or flown one yet?

That looks really cool. Apogee does a nice job of laying out all the parts so you know what you're getting.

Wife loves steampunk stuff so I will have to pick one up pretty soon. Wouldn't hate a 29mm mount though.

Received one recently. I was on the waiting list, the debut was delayed due to Apogee's moving into their new digs. It's in my build pile. Would you like to see a build thread? Cool steampunk design, cluster ignition and drop off boosters.

If you'd like to get an idea of what the kit is like to build, Tim has started a series of videos on the Apogee website. Look under How To Guides/Advanced Construction Videos. Not complete yet, up to part 6 only. I'll be starting a build thread in a day or two in the MPR section.

Yes!

I place my order late Thursday night, and it shipped Friday. I stopped at Hobby Lobby and picked up some B6-0s for the boosters. I already had plenty of E9-4s on hand.

Mine arrived in Monday's mail. Looking it over, I'm already thinking of changes, mostly adding more pseudo-scale details in the spirit of the original.

By the original, I meant the kit itself, if built according to the instructions, the videos, the picture on the packaging, the pictures on the web site, or some combination of the above. I'm thinking of details inspired by Jules Verne's novels and the steampunk aesthetic.

Building one now. It is high quality and emphasis is on the art of it, if you know where Tim from Apogee is coming from: Art and science. There are build vids on Apogee.com. I'll post some vids and pics soon. So far, I am impressed.
