Finished up a new offering from Mach 1 today. The Karman Line Transport is a small 24mm fiberglass kit. This is the first kit from Mach 1 I have assembled, and the first 24mm kit I have done in quite a while.
The kit itself is a very good quality kit, all the parts fit and finish were excellent.
I opted for a simple finish on this one and added a Estes retainer that I sanded down to the same diameter as the main tube. I also added a couple used nozzles from some 29/40-120 reloads to use as nozzles on the booster tubes just for some added interest.
Should be a great flying kit on the 24/60 case that I will try out at the next club launch.
