What's going on? New Format???

It has changed, but it still allows us to all have a forum in/of/about rocketry and such, for that I am much appreciative as I can ask questions, find answers and have a community that I find no where else. It might take me a few extra minutes to find something, but hey in the grand scheme of things does it really matter? Hellfire is coming up, and those extra few minutes are not going to make me miss it...
I am just glad to have a forum and resource for rocketry. Thanks.

is there a way to have it display related posts at the bottom of a thread again instead of new posts?

Okay. There was a plug in that was tried, but unfortunately it breaks the server. So, it has to stay the way it is.

Before the update I had 8. Had to pare down to update Secret Santa link. But like I stated in my previous post, not a big deal. It was just a nice feature to have.

I've upped it to 8 for registered users and 10 for Staff, Supporters and Sponsors

I've checked my years of older posts...

Years of photos display small and when click on they error.

Years of youtube links in posts display text. I went back and reposted one.

Signature links not functioning... I edit link and working now.

Can older youtube links and photos be repaired?

Kevin . The links to the images in the 2nd thread show nothing in the data base before the transfer. When is the last time you saw them? Do you remember where they may have linked to?
I presume you mean "Jim"... My name is Jim.

I do not remember the last time I saw them. It'll take a while to figure out where they may have linked to in my post. As for Neil's post, not a clue.

[EDIT] I can't find my images for them on my computer, they may have been lost when a Windows 10 update killed my HD. Also, I need to be able to edit that post as I've found an error that needs correcting, and if I can recreate the issue, to be able to add the new images.

On the previous format I could hold my pointer over the title of the thread and see the first line of it, that helped me decide whether I wanted to click on it. Now, it doesn't seem to have that feature.

I'm not a super-big fan of the font being Times New Roman (or whatever) when you're typing in a post, then switching to something sans serif once it's posted. I'd prefer a WYSIWYG system.
I'd like to note that this has been fixed.

BUT.

The editor is now showing Trebuchet by default, rather than Roboto like the rest of the system. It is a small (and low-priority) issue but it should be easily fixable, if and when you can get around to it.

Angie, thanks for all your work.

I really like being able to pull up the pictures with a big arrow on the left and the right to page through and review. Much easier than what we had before.

I like it mostly too, but I don't like how the messages use a "phone texting message bubble" call-out stye. That's a pretty minor gripe though.
That would be fixable with a trivial Stylish style (1 liner). I can whip it up for you if you need.

Personally I have an assortment of minor gripes about the site CSS (which I've been forwarding to Angie, and a couple have already been fixed), but the callout style doesn't bother me.

It does have that feature. It seems to work with some browsers. Do you have Java running? I ran into this on another board.

My Win10 Chrome does not get it. I have a couple of other family laptops to see if i can get it figured out for you.

I like the new look! One thing that I would like to see though is having the sticky threads at the top of each subform more distinctly set off from the current threads, as at the moment it is more difficult to identify them just off the little pin icon (I think it used to be that the entry line for stickies in the thread list were shaded a different colour to make them more easily identifiable).

Do you have Javascript running? What version of Windows are you using?
Javascript is allowed in my content settings, so yes it is running. I don't run windows. My chromebook simply uses chrome as its "operating system."

Works fine....Chrome...Windows 10....Javascript allowed.

Does anyone else with a chromebook have this problem? I put my pointer over the thread title and nothing happens. I have Javascript enabled in my settings. It is the only thing about the new format that perturbs me.

One thing I noticed is when you are looking at a topic you do not know how many pages are in the thread until you hover over it. (Using Firefox)
