Old URL's should be working now.

I'll work on getting participants back even if sidebar is off.

Also, any chance we can set limits to the number of replies we see in a thread (on a single page)? The old system allowed us to view up to 40 at a time, and I haven't found that setting yet in the new.

Try working with doctors, Nurses, and an EMR. Want to make them shut up about how lousy the current system is? Put in a new one.

I have it set at 25 right now, the most I've seen on a forum was 30.

I'll see if I'm overlooking a setting where you can change it to that.

Does bring to mind the recent flareup of complaints about posting images in the old vBulletin forum (which flared up from time to time). Which I never liked how the photos were input (kludgey early 90's style when it worked, and thumbnails at the bottom rater than images in the flow of the text. And ruining the scale/quality of some images like drawings that needed to be in original form). Which is why eventually I went to a 3rd party host like imgur.

Looks like mine work too now.

Thanks!

YAY! I tell you the developer is a good guy. There has been past customization that he's had to work around to get these working again.

Did someone say there is a way to eliminate the "New Posts", so that the right margin goes all the way across the screen? If so, how?

Go to the person icon top right, click to open user control panel.
About 1/2 down left list of options is Preferences.
Go to bottom of the page that opens, and the place to turn off ads, and turn off right side bar is there.
Remember to save.

Until they start complaining (in 30 seconds) about the next one.
EMR is a danger to one's health. Mistakes happen more often with
a mouse click. At least with a pen the brain needs to be engaged before the hand moves.
BTW, new format sucks. I paid and still lose 1/3rd the screen to
crap ads. Sick, real sick. Kurt

I miss how many are viewing right not on each forum/thread on the home page. Anyway to get that back? I liked seeing the recent activity for myself and friends. This feature seems to be a shadow of what it use to be.

Any idea when internal links (like from post #2 to post #37), or vice versa going to be fixed?

I've tested exactly 1 link from within the thread to outside the thread, and that worked, but internal to the same thread, no good.

I also still cannot edit my .ork files thread's original posts to reflect updates.

For each thread, you can see the Views and Replies

At the bottom of the index of forums;

These seem to cover it.
And if you click on Members Online Now

You can look at various classifications.

No, I remember seeing that too, each forum had an indication of how many people were in that forum, viewing that particular forum.. Like, right now, the "watering Hole" would indicate "(143 people viewing)"

It was at the bottom of the forum if I remember correctly. I've not seen a setting for that on the XF stuff I've done, but I'll check it out more and if I can find it I will see about doing it.

(I Still find it slow, slower than the original, when jumping into threads, when jumping out, when posting, when back buttoning.. every navigation click seems to have a second or two lag..)

The new forum seems more responsive to me on all 4 of my computers; laptop, main desktop, HTPC and remote system used for BOINC. Anyhoot, in regards to your post, there could be factors other then the new forum s/w that can have a negative impact on your browsing experience. But there are too many to list here.

Does your current browser have a lot of addins/plugins installed?
Have you tried a different browser?
Have you purged your browser of old cookies and it's history cache?

Excluding Win10 and Mac OS ( I know very little of these OS), booting into Safe Mode can fix some browser/software issues because Safe Mode purges the system's Prefetch files.

I may be in the minority, but so far I like it. I haven't really put the search tool to the test yet though and that was my biggest gripe about the last system. It was awful. For a noobie like me, that aspect is critical.

@Faroutspacenut Thank you. If you find you need some help or something explained, please just post here. The staff members and I are watching so we can help as fast as we can.

Oooops....

Nothing critical but maybe something for the tertiary to-do list?

Just noticed that user sig has a limit of 5 hyperlinks. Is this set in stone?

How many are you expecting?
