Has anyone tried to download, or even found the IFIP app from an Appstore that isn't the US one? Is that the only place it is available?

Doesn't seem to be on the Australian appstore. Difficult to get from the US store if you don't have a US based credit card, and the virtual options (like US Unlocked) don't seem to be an option at the moment.

Hopefully Adrian is going to put it on other stores soon as I just paid for a package :-(

It’s under the Test Flight app and you have to be given password. I imagine he’ll add it to the App Store now that it’s released to public. Up until yesterday it was beta version.

Yes, we need to add each person who orders one, to the list that enables installing it through TestFlight. I'm not sure how long it will be before the app is available in the app store.

Yes, I have to figure out the submission process for the full blown app so right now we are still doing TestFlight deployment tied to apple IDs. It shouldn't require a password - just their Apple ID. [I just had a side conversation with Adrian about that so we'll let you know if we learn one way or the other.]

There's two ways testflight can work... either you give the users a redeem code and they enter it, or you enter their email and they get directly invited. I just got a notification in testflight (which I already use heavily at work) saying I had been invited to a new app. Just guessing they're going with the second method. :)

Yes, that is correct. This has been my first experience with iPhone development and TestFlight so we are using the "give us an email and we will add you to the list". I actually wondered how the redeem code is used but it is nice to be able to send the current users an email to give them status / updates.

I wouldn't mind sending an invite to someone who isn't a user, but the app is pretty boring without a tracker (you won't get much excitement out of it other than what you get from screen shots....).

there is no redeem code, we just need to add your AppleID (email) to the TestFlight list. Send me your AppleID to [email protected] and I'll get you added. [I see now that Adrian says it doesn't require an appleID email as long as you receive it on your phone. I will go ahead and add yours from the side thread.
