I just went from one post to another & everything i different....anyone else?

I can't find my previous thread to update...where are they?

Yep, not a fan so far. I did figure out how to get rid of the new posts crap on the RH side. Go to your profile, select preferences and at the bottom, click on the box for "opt out of sidebar".
All the pictures I can't see so far. They come up as a link that only opens in another tab, and that tab says I don't have permission to view the content.
And yes, I'm logged in...
 
If you will go to the Support and Announcement Forum, you'll find more information. The site has transferred to XenForo software and all the settings are not completely done. Trying to stay up as much as possible, so there will be no downtime.

Questions and answers will be looked for in the Support and Announcement forum.

luckily I could smell something was wrong can copied and pasted into Word.

What. You can have new posts. Come on down to the Support forum, or I'll try to work with you here. But why would this keep the new post from working for you? And the site is not completely jelled yet. Why don't you give it at least one or two days before you pass judgement on it?

There is a NEW POST on the top of the page, and New Posts on the right hand side, so very easy to find.
 
It's different. It will take a little getting used to, but so far not horrible. I'm just soooo used to vBulletin's forum style.

@d2cylman: Many thanks for the tip. Made these forums much easier to deal with.
 
Where are all of my build threads? I came on to post pics and update one ...they are all gone. Used to find under all previous threads.
At top where it says "my threads" it's empty. Heck I have pages of documentation, years of work...gone? Or hidden somewhere?
 
I think the problem is we didn't know this was coming. The appropriate place for announcement would have been Watering Hole...no one reads support forum unless they have a problem. You should keep posts here about it.

Exactly.....where no one goes on regular basis.

First place most look is their personal preference..i.e. high power......low power..etc & Watering hole
By the way some one please try and send me a PM [I mean hmmmm conversation] I can't get it to send..keeps saying invalid conversation.
 
Need to add back 2 important features:

1. Edit posts. I went back to add back in a couple of missing words in my last post, and I don't see any way to do that.
2. Go to last post in thread table of contents. This was very useful before.

1. it's there; bottom leftish
2. its automatically bringing to first unread post, I kinda like that

I spoke too soon without thoroughly investigating. I apologize for my earlier post. (I swear the new posts button wasn't there before!)
 
But what about pictures?
In iqsy59's for sale post, for example, I don't see any pictures. Just links that open in a new tab, but don't work...

Jim, I did just send you a "conversation" (PM)....did it work?

When you get a "conversation" the bell on the far right upper corner should show a number. You'll get an alert when the threads you watch (aka subscribe) have a new post.

Please post a the address to that thread here. The developer is off now, but will be back tomorrow to help for those things. Unless I can figure it out for you tonight.

Also. Go to a rocket photo you like - here or elsewhere. Now right click copy and come back here and in your post, paste it.
