What kind of rockets do you like?

I am drawn to split-fin designs...not sure why, but I just love the way they look! I'm also into electronics, so I'm starting to get the bug for multiple stages and instrumentation, but my local field has a pretty low ceiling. That also leads me to enjoy "big dumb ones" too.

I like scratch building rockets for specific missions. (Camera, staged, clustered, night flight, electronic payload, high power certification, etc.)

Big dumb rockets. Low and slow all the way.

I can relate to that. Even with HPR stuff I did in the 90s, it was "Big Bertha" flight profiles I enjoyed. I wanted to see every Newton-second I paid for.

A minimum diameter build to me meant -- for any given motor, what is the minimum diameter I can safely use to make sure I see the rocket for its entire flight ...
:)

Mostly scale stuff but that doesn't stop me from pulling the trigger on random designs that look cool. Upscales of old favorites are pretty great, too.

For scale rockets i like that too. :)

Decent size rockets with motors sized for the field and weather conditions. I like to get them back.
Occasionally, a fire and forget such as a 4 stage F15 rack rocket :)
