I mainly fly 29mm A-T, but I'm looking for a little more oomph for some of my rockets on occasion and hazmat free loads are a must.

So if anyone has one sitting around gathering dust that would rather have the cash, drop me a line and let's make a deal.

No problem...
I've got a half dozen of them...
How many ya want ?? lol..

Teddy

I left a free one and retainer @ 3 oaks last spring its got a spent I-316 in it

retainer will like new when found btw no glue on it

Still looking. May end up going new if I can't find a used one, but I don't forsee myself launching more than 2-3 loads a year so just trying not to dump too much money into it.

Give Teddy a call, grab a new case and some I405LW reloads. You won't be sorry.

Haha,,
That's funny Andy..
Thank you so much man..

YoungBlood,,
One of Andy's fav loads has been the I405LW for years..
Check out the thrust curve and you'll see why..

https://www.thrustcurve.org/simfilesearch.jsp?id=1024

I am always pointing out to Andy the I430LB...
If you check that curve you'll see it's much cooler,, lol...

https://www.thrustcurve.org/simfilesearch.jsp?id=2110

I've always said the curve for the I430 is the single coolest thrust curve I've ever seen...

Now Andy's gonna beat me up at the next launch,, lol..

Wow Teddy, both of those loads have pretty impressive numbers for I Motors?

They are both very nice motors.

Now, you have said you fly AT 29. Have you ever looked at the AT 38 mm reloads? Specifically the I366 and i435?

Not trying to tell you what to do- it is all good by me. Just offering an alternative due to your familiarity with AT motors already.

I have a Loki 38/480 case. The only loads I've flown so far are a couple of I-405s, which I like a lot, they're great for the high drag rockets that I like to fly. I recently ordered three I-316 Spitfire reloads, I can't wait to try them out come spring!

I like rocket motors. I like flying Aerotech, CTI, Loki....AMW, Kosdon, Ellis....Vulcan, Research. Ok, my name is Eric and I have a problem!

BUT! I have two all time favorite I motors; both "4 grain" length motors. Loki I405 White and Kosdon I420 (formerly I400) Fast. Like Teddy said, you watch a Loki I405 and you don't associate the fury with "just an I" motor. Both are brutal motors that tickle your senses!

I don't think many sets of hardware are for sale second hand, because they're a high quality versatile product. The commercial loads are great and they work equally well for research hardware. And YES, Teddy is an excellent source of Loki products!!!

Dan,, no joke,, when you get the chance try the I 377 Cocktail,,
It is just about the coolest I load on the planet..
But I guess I'm partial.. lol..

Eric, that is just a healthy interest.

It is the hazmat shipping that just kills larger AT loads for me. I just don't buy enough hazmat motors at once to justify buying them. My club is on the smaller side and there's really only one or two other people who launch HPR with any regularity, and most of them are good on motors. There's not even a shop that sells any HPR motors within about 150 miles of here (that I'm aware of) unless you want to count Loki itself. :)

:cheers:I just picked up a new Loki 38/480 and an I 405LW as well as an I 377 Cocktail. (Thanks guys for the push over the edge) All but two of the reloads for that motor are shippable through USPS. Reasonable price on the loads considering the performance. A big thank you and shout out to Teddy and OneBadHawk
