I used to live near a taco hell a long time ago and I would wonder whether they called it that because "you are what you eat" and you end up shaped like a bell, thus, a taco bell.
 
As I stated earlier, Americans turned otherwise healthy food into pure junk food. Two thirds of American people can't be wrong.

Morgan walked out after screening Super Size Me at Sundance with a check for $1M just for the US theatrical rights. It's a great film and he's really good on camera.

Forget about the health considerations, McDonald's food is just gross. If you want a burger for $1.89 you can't expect the food quality to be that high. For anyone who hasn't tried 5 Guys I say give them a shot. They are more expensive but you're not supposed to be eating this stuff every day anyway. As far as cheap fast good goes I'll do Burger King over McDonalds any day. The food quality is better and the Ramones mention them in a song :)

Hey don't knock cheap food, based just on price! Haha, sorry I can't resist......I just bought lunch for 5 of us today, it was about $7.55 USD!! And it was an awesome meal! Oh, I am in Taiwan by the way. I think I could actually live on my salary over here.

Exactly. One of my friends opened the 2nd Vietnamese restaurant in my state in the 70's. I asked him if what he served was authentic Vietnamese cuisine. He replied that he had to alter the flavor for American taste buds.

A kind of funny story about how little people know about the culture of the cuisine they're eating...one day, I was in another Vietnamese restaurant and two old ladies were finishing their meal when the owner came over to hand them their bill. They started arguing with him because he didn't give them fortune cookies. He had no idea what they were talking about.

In December I was eating food in Thailand for about the same price. You don't see many fat Thai people.
 
Following this line of thinking, African food must be fantastic for you.
 
I worked in NM for a while, the Mex food there is real. Took me a year to become acclimated to it, they put loads of green chili in about everything.

Then I could not get enough of it! After a 5 course meal I would be SWEATING. Lots of good memories from that time. Partying in the desert. A different kind of place.
 
For me, after having quit smoking, drinking and drugs back in 90', the next rational and easy step was the junk food altogether. It just makes absolute sense. All cold turkey. None of this kind of, sort of BS.
