Guys, please note that the liner color doesn't make a bit of difference on the G motor reloads. Either type will work for any load.

Enjoy!

If you are at the field tomorrow, please stop by: lime green canopy On the north end of the front row
and a very dusty Toyota Tacoma with Ohio plates.

Glad you like 'em. Sadly I can't make it out any more this weekend, But it looks like it should be an excellent day to launch for everyone.

Onboard video from my Hawk Mountain Proteus flying on an M2380 White on Friday at URRF 3. Weighed 62.5 lbs and flew to 9,700'. Perfect recovery right across the ditch thanks to the low winds and perfect conditions. Thanks to Nat (upscaleCNC) for the recovery help, and thankfully I didn't land in your truck...)!

Very Nice Flight!! Sure wish I'd been able to get out there this year to see all this in person! Next year!

Just got back home after a great time! 9 flights total for the weekend. 5 Fri, 3 Sat, 1 today. Mix of commercial and research motors.

Thanks to all involved.

Thanks to Teddy (OneBadHawk) loaning me a case, I got to try flying a Loki motor for the first time.
I flew my Madcow Pike on a Loki H160 Blue

First flight for the Pike
First time using a Loki

Great flight - landed near the pads so a short walk to recover

I'm glad you enjoyed the flight Les! Short walk to the pads hu? Not the 1st time I've heard that. :) The high initial thrust of the USPS shipable Loki reloads means they'll leave the rail faster and go straighter up into the air. Less weather cocking, less walking, more altitude usually as well.

So no body claimed the flight card/rocket photo prize. Great photos Les but unfortunately, no photo of your flight card. :-(
We may have to do something for you yet anyway. ;-)

Thanks to all at URRG for a great event! You guys worked your butt off for safe and really fun time. Thank you all vendors for your presence and help to all us flyers.

Ted Chernok & Scott Kormeier, this vid is for you.

I wanted to thank the launch organizers and all the volunteers that made this launch one of the best launches I've been to in a long time! The field layout was magnificent. Being able to load multiple areas while launching others kept the flow of rockets to the pad moving smoothly. I never saw a line to get to the pads. Way to go, guys!!

Let me add my sincere thanks to URRF 3's organizers and volunteers...Kudos to the folks at URRG and CATO (and to all the volunteers) for putting-on a spectacular and truly memorable event. We had a great time, burned a lot of black power (and a bit of AP...we're mainly LP and MP rocketeers), and are looking forward to returning to Potter for a future launch.

Also a special shout-out to whoever chose the "bumper music" played during the breaks for pad loading and recovery...Great tunes. (My son especially enjoyed the rendition of "Disco Star Wars" someone snuck-in on Saturday!)

Thanks again to all involved (and to whoever made arrangements for this weekend's 3 days of perfect weather)!

Kudos to URRG for running a great launch. Was really happy with this year's raffle... not only did I hit the jackpot, the cool MAC Performance ARCAS kit, but even before that was happy that my pre-purchased tickets were ready to go when I got their. Somebody took the time to fill-in my name on the tickets, separated them, and put the stubs in my registration package. That's really going the extra mile and is much appreciated.

The range step was excellent, equipment worked great throughout the event, and Saturday night a Smuggler's was a blast.

Can't wait until next year.

This was my first, big, national, HPR launch, and I was impressed. It was well organized and professional. When the left-right thing got into a rhythm, the flight throughput was really good. (The key seems to be setting a cut-off time for entry to the left range, after which new fliers must go to the right range. This prevents stragglers from holding up the show.)

The quantity and condition of the equipment was really nice, and the field was fantastic! I was scared off by the forbidden "Zone I", so I angled my flights to the east to be safe. I didn't mind the 1/2 mile walks into the crops to retrieve my rockets. Good exercise.

Lastly, what a beautiful setting! My wife and I really enjoyed the forests and rolling countryside. Driving to the launch site from a rental cabin in the woods was half the fun.

Home after the 11 1/2 drive. Worth every minute behind the wheel or in the back seat. URRG & CATO have done it yet again. Great job to all!!

I have on-board video from both of Bill Good's flights I will post when I decompress a bit.

URRG has become a "premier" launch area for the east coast .
Who has a fire truck and EMS on standby ? All day! URRG. Kudos to Rick and associate from Potter FD.
And parking is YUGE.
Larry W, the Energizer. Greg G, luminous LCO. The entire expert and hospitable URRF/CATO staff, providing 100% sweat effort.
On display, some of the best rocketry craftsman and motor making skills in the country.
Outstanding.

if you really need the flight card photo I'm sure we could track it down.... I picked up a 120 case and a couple of the new loads from Teddy. can't wait to fly them next month.

It was very refreshing to come home tonight get a hot shower and read the many nice comments toward the event and its organizers. The many that signed up and worked range duty really helped free up committee members so we could focus on detail. Our president Don Tennis has everyone focused on amplifying everyone’s strengths and promoting interaction between its members. The results are starting to show. I really enjoyed this event and everyone that came. Can’t wait till next time.

On board video of Bill Good's AGM-78 Standard Arm on one of my N4000 Mad River White Research motors. Issues with the main chute deploying and some damage upon landing. The rocket is in the shop right now awaiting repairs. We still need to load the currently yet unused four 75mm holes and load this puppy up.
