My #1 drink was Coca-Cola, one of the reasons I got Diabetes. Ever since the dietary change, my go-to drink is Iced tea (well, not-hot tea), which I always liked anyway but preferred Coke more (none of the diet cokes do it for me).

Anyway, I'm using Splenda to sweeten it. And Lipton "cold brew" teabags, so no need to boil water, just use room temp water in a pitcher and let the teabags soak awhile to do their thing.

I'm a bit above my target weight range. So tonight I think I'm going to give up my primary meal and just go with my regular nightly salad and snack on popcorn. Paying for the great food I had a bit too much of during the holidays.

1) Get my L3
2) Not bum cigarettes
3) launch at least one more Newton than last year.

1. I can help YOU with that, call me...
2. Don't worry about that one if i'm nearby- Nether one of us is immortal.
3. That's an easy one! ;)

My resolution - my goal for 2016 is to make at least one Build thread posting on TRF. :)

I'm sure you will my young friend...A good start might be your recently acquired Christmas present:confused: Hmmmmm?

MINE-

1. Smoke a little less.
2. Cuss a lot more....less.
3. Finish ALOT of unfinished projects (rocketry related). :sigh:
4. Get up in the morning earlier on my days off.
5. Love alot more of the things i love...
6. Enjoy the days i have left...Alot more.

Pretty much the same things i say every new year.

Besides the normal " eat healthier, exercise more, and loose weight" that seems to make the list every year:
1- build 1 rocket a month, and only one a month to make time for other projects.
2- L1 cert ( April 9th launch)
3- get my ham license
4- pay off my student loan, motorcycle, and car.

All is very doable if I can stay focused.

I'm going to smoke more, drink more, and gain more weight.

Finally, a resolution I can keep!

In order to meet these goals you should really try to quantify them so you can track your progress and make adjustments as needed. Instead of vague terms like drink "more", set a concrete goal like "Drink 8 ounces of whisky per night, smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day, gain 1.5 pounds each week." That's how you ensure success!

I made a New Years Resolution to help the neighbors on my street prepare for emergencies by using the format of "Do One Thing" put out by FEMA (https://do1thing.com/)

I started by sending them all an email about my resolution and project and started with January's topic which is "make a plan". I outlined emergencies that might practically occur that would impact us here on our street. I am not talking about a meteor hitting the earth or a nuclear bomb, I'm talking about a natural gas leak, fire, electrical outages - that sort of thing. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of positive response I have received - many have contributed to the discussion via email and want to be involved. To keep on track I have a calendar item for the first of each month to send out another email covering each months topics.

It's something that doesn't take alot time, is quantifiable and is a positive thing that will reward me for my efforts.

Plan to launch more. Even if I gotta step over some folks to set 'em up. My local youth group's been coasting for almost 3 years without a launch.

That really is far beyond very nice of you....
I sure hope you're neighborhood never needs it..
But if it does what you're doing is invaluable. ....
I tip my hat to ya.....
