Here is the latest coming from DFR Tech. These kits will be available from www.jonrocket.com and www.apogeerockets.com in September.

Wow, that would be a fun one to build. I wonder if one could make it shoot out a miniature probe under streamer at the deployment. Now THAT would be awesome.

Hey! Who is the ugly guy in the background?!?

;)

I gotta say- this thing flew great! (As all of Carl's kits do) Can't wait to get my hands on one!

Congratulations ! Very nice ROCKET. Iwant to build one Atlas V OTV, but I can not find plans for it. I am an old spacemodelist from Romania, since 1969. I built many rockets more than 30, from Atlas Able to Saturn 5. Now I am an retired air force general, but this hobby is still present in my life . This year I'll be the leader of the Scale judjes team at the World Space Models Championships in Bulgaria. Best regards, Ion

Thanks, This kit can be built without the 5 SRM's but will need a way to get the launch lug beyond the larger fairing. I have replacement wraps for the fairing with the OTV logo. I was planning this version but its now on the back burner as the OTV missions have gone silent.

Ordered and got mine within the past few months; finally got it assembled during the Thanksgiving Holidays. Made a few modifications (mainly the launch lugs and recovery method/shock cord placement). Very handsome model and can't wait to fly it.
