The launch at BattlePark that was scheduled for March 14th and 15th has been postponed to March 21st and 22nd.

The field is still soft from the latest snows and recent rain. The forecast is for rain Friday and all day Saturday. The mud will make it unusable for Sunday.

Looks like we're still a go for today… let's hope we end up with some good weather!

The weather turned out beautiful. The field was a bit mushy, but as long as you voided the lowest areas, it was ok. I had two nice flights, First was my dual deploy expediter with an I245 .. the up part was beautiful, but I had drag separation of the nose shortly after apogee, but I got lucky and it did not drift very much.

Next up was my 38 mm Optima with an I180 ... skidmark. Since the field was moist, what better time for a sparky? wild flight to 2916 feet, waaaay up there (this is not a huge rocket) so the only thing I could see besides the tracking smoke was the glint from the silver decals, followed by a perfect deployment. There were winds aloft, so there was a bit of a hike, but well worth it for such a cool flight.

Regrettably I can not make it tomorrow, but I had fun. It was nice to fly after 2 months + of bad weather.

Saturday was a great day for flying, I got in two flights, both mid power in my 3D printed rocket. Got decent GPS data from one of the flights. The second flight on a G76 made it to 2750' according to the GPS, and it simmed at 2900, so that sounds about right.
