I recently just sent a batch of reviews to the two volunteers who check them and format them for the site. After they send them back, I'll post them on EMRR/RocketReviews.com and send them the rest of the ones that are in the queue.
As Dick mentioned, voting in the video contest started recently. I set up a new site for the voting at My.RocketReviews.com. It was quicker and easier to set up the voting in the new web site framework than getting it working in the existing site.
BTW, I missed one of the video submissions when initially setting up the site. So, if you've already voted, please re-visit and check out the newly added video.
The method used for voting in the video contest seems to have been fairly well received. So, I'll set something similar up soon for the photo contest.
I've also got the new site almost ready to be used to accept submissions of reviews. The process, from your end, will be almost the same as before. But, it will be easier for you to save a draft of your review and find it later.
When you log in, you'll see a "My Reviews" link that will display a list of all the reviews you've submitted. If a review hasn't been publsihed, you can select it and edit it. You'll also be able to "attach" images and other files to your reviews through the web site. You won't have to send them later through email.
The big advantage to the new system will be to myself and the volunteers who work hard keeping the site fresh. We'll be able to work on the reviews right in the site with all the peices in one place.
Once that process is in place, it'll free up my time to work on some exciting new ideas I have for the site!
