I'm going through the Reno Airport just now, and saw this on display. Carbon fiber fins. I imagined this being lost out at Blackrock, and some Burning Man burner finding it.

What does the plaque to the left of the rocket say? Something about artwork? The photo resolution is to low to make it out.

It says "Precious Artwork, Please Do Not Touch", but that sign is from another exhibit.

As visitors arrive at Reno Tahoe Airport they will be greeted by a new exhibit – “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles … from Runways to Rockets” depicting the history of Sparks, Nevada over the past 150 years. This joint project between the Sparks Museum & Cultural Center, The Reno Tahoe Airport Authority and Granite Construction has been months in the making. Curated by the Museum Exhibit committee the display features several large three dimensional objects including a Rocket and an early 1900′s

That's funny, I came back to this thread to ask about that, but you beat me to it. An early 1900's what?

Ahh, of course. A Doctors Buggy.

Thanks for the info everyone! I was actually flying out on that day heading for the Caribbean, so I am just now getting back to see this. :)
