Work schedules and church obligations have not allowed me to play a significant part in the life of this community for the past year but the people of TRF do remain an important part of my life and I am thankful for all of you each and every day.

I want to take this time to wish a Merry Christmas to all of you. May you all receive joyfully the gifts of the season.

For those who celebrate it, I wish a Happy Channukah. May your lights always burn brightly.

To those who celebrate neither of these occasion, I wish happy holidays to you as well.

To all of you: may you be richly blessed and may you be used in turn to bless creation!

Now I have two more services to do before reporting back to the hospital for the overnight shift!

Peace and Grace to all

John A. Lee O.S.L.

Right back at ya, John. Thanks for the heartfelt good wishes.
Hope you get some time off soon,

Now that I am home from church for the evening (I only had one service) I can finally relax a little and wish you the very merriest of Christmases. Rest well, and may you find the peace that is beyond understanding.

And John, this community is richer because you are part of it.

I truly appreciate the sentiment but I really cracked up when I first read your reply.

Images flashed through my mind of when I first found TRF. A part of those images consisted of all the vendors and those who sell old rockets online. My memory is that in my early eagerness, I truly did contribute to a making at least that part of the community much richer in a financial sense! The mania continued until EBay went to PayPal only and salvaged the last vestiges of solvency on my part.

Merry Christmas again, everyone!

John-I can truly say you are a respected member of our little fraternity and I've enjoyed your posts immensely. While i am very proud of being a member here, it's folks like you that have given this virtual gathering a feeling of comraderie and friendship. Thank you for your humilty, humour and humanity not only here but in all the people's lives that you 've touched. May your holidays be filled with companionship and peace and 2015 bring you the rewards you so richly deserve in whatever form you measure them. To your health and prosperity, sir!

Working in healthcare, I have seen the immeasurable comfort the efforts folks like you bring. I spend my days hurling technology at sickness. Your weapon is so much more powerful. Thank you for helping people being cared for in the hospital know that they are so much more than just something hooked up to a bunch of machines.

Hey, I don't know you, but that was a great post! Belated Merry Christmas, and blessed New Year to you and all. I have had a blast over the last year, reading and contributing (in my meager way). Thanks, all.

I, for one, am anxious for you to get some free time to finish up your Rube Goldberg Lander.
