I passed on the SAAB RB-05a sport and SAAB RB-05A-98 kits during the sale because I could not find enough info on these. Anyone have specs, actual kit photos or a Rocksim file?? How about the new Interceptor aad kits?

Here's the SAAB Sport:

(Rocksim file attached) 54mm airframe, 38mm hole, nice new molded high Tg composite nose cone. It needs a little nose weight but I'm really looking forward to flying it at the next ROC launch in two weeks!

You can find CJ and his Punisher over here. 76mm airframe, 54mm hole, same awesome new cone with a re-engineered built-in head end dual deployment system and a silica-phenolic tip. I have three 3"/54mm rockets already and I'm having a really hard time resisting this one!

The 4" SAAB I have files for but they're on my other computer. 98mm airframe, 76mm hole, 3/16" G10 fins, head end dual deployment. It's a SAAB Extreme in every sense of the word. That one's gonna take a little more noseweight...

Thanks, David. That thing is a little screamer. 5.5k' on an I357 and over 8k' on a J350. I think shiny streamers will be the order of the day with that one. Would love to see the 4" files, especially if we're going to get another chance to grab one. I already have a 4"/3" rocket but I can always use another rocket to use my motor hardware in.

Do you know what the heck an Interceptor aad-98 is?

Things are starting to pile up here.
Just under 3000 lbs of CTI yesterday.
Not all of it, but close.
Aeropack 29-38-54's are here, the rest is on the way.
Kits are almost all done and starting to be sent out ,except the 2.6 and 4".
We are still waiting on parachutes.
Rocketpoxy is on the way.
6 boxes of Aerotech hobby-line are here with a Sh!! load more on the way .

Sorry I wasn't there to add to your backlog this year; darned Digest Mode snafu. Will keep my eyes open for future Wacky Wednesdays soon as my subscription is switched to Streaming Mode.

Hi folks I just want to give everyone an update.
We have received a lot of the sale merchandise in.
CTI most of the propellant missing some 75mm stuff gen 2 hardware latter this month 38 2 g cases also later this month. 3000lbs and 4 pallets so far
Aerotech only received the some hobby line. We are working through our inventory to fill what we can.
Top Flight received the first order B\O par 70” that I know of.
Rocketry poxy small shipment came in more in the next couple days.
Sky angle nothing yet.
Aeropack everything except M54e I think.

Over 40 packages went out yesterday and more than that will go out today.
This will give you all an idea if what’s happening here.
We are packing as fast as we can please remember this was a prepay preorder sale and if you needed it right away you should let us know.

Haven't received any notification but then I don't know if my order was ready for shipment.

I got an email. Should be here Wednesday. Can't wait to build. It's been a while since I've built a kit.

I received the UPS notification several days ago. Delivery estimate is Thursday of this week.

Looking forward to it. Christmas comes early this year. :hohoho:

Not yet. Mine was all Aerotech Single-use and DMS motors and CTI reloads, and I know some of it was backordered on the day of the sale. Has most of the backorder propellant come in yet?

On a side note, I have a few items on my Christmas list (AT G-Force, LOC Warlock, and CTI hardware), and I have a feeling that they may not have been ordered until today. I wonder if those will come in time or if I will find nothing under my tree and have to just spend the Christmas day sobbing in my eggnog.

As far as I know, mine have yet to ship. I had a good assortment of Aerotech reloads, kits, and TFR chutes etc. Then again, I'm not supposed to know about it once it arrives.

I suspect that I got delivery notice becasue of my UPS settings rather than Tim taking time from shipping to send one. UPS' system has associated my postal address with my email address. It's not the same email I get when a vendor sends me a notice.

Now to sit back and wait for Tim to offer a SAAB Sport.

Still awaiting a shipping notice on my 3 inch darkstar.
