I always been tempted to go to Tim's just to see what his shop is like during the sale. But it's an 8hour drive so I'm not THAT tempted!

One day I am going to attend a wildman vended launch.

Its not good on your wallet to do such things.. but very interesting to say the least!

I will watch the sale tomorrow; however, we splurged on daughter's gift this weekend while the prices were good. So I don't know what I have left in funds for another sale.

I have always loved Tim's BS sale... It's kind of like an early morning splash of water in your face trying to assimilate the offerings, prices, budget, timing, etc.; then make the picks and close out the cart--total adrenaline rush!

You wouldn't happen to know what kind of retainer I should be looking for for the new Patriot, would you?

No, but Tim often has combo offerings, i.e., discount on the retainer with kit purchase. Look for it during the sale--it might be specified. Otherwise Reese, Griffin, Steve or Crazy Jim might answer tonight.

Which one did you buy? There's a 29mm and a 54mm version -- RA29P and RA54P if you're looking at AeroPack.

Check tomorrow

If you got the 29mm version, I have to recommend the estes retainers. On my Darkstar Lite, mine has stood up to 7 flights so far, including a G76G failure, and an H210R, H268R and an I200W. They may be plastic, but they're tough!

I got the 29mm... That's what I was looking for. Just wondering if the new fiberglass still fits the same retainer. I've never tried an Estes on a fiberglass, but I do have a couple laying around somewhere... Love them on my other kits (love them for price), but I wonder... ... ... ... ... ... Will Tim be carrying the new Aerotech retainers?

That is a good question..the new FG Thin Walled Tubing..on 38 54 and 75mm.. Std Phenolic type Aeropack or click down to LOC size version?

Estes can be done on fiberglass. It just takes some sanding to get it to fit. But I have put Estes on all of my minis.

I sure do wish the glue would dry on this __mm SAAB prototype with a __mm motor mount so I can take a picture of it!

I do not see the new H550 ST reloads listed in the aerotech 38mm 360 reload section on the website. Are these going to be available for the sale?

Would one of those people happen to be me? :)
Your goose is cooked. What he just called to add... :eyepop:

I also know a couple people who will be very happy about some of the offerings in this sale.

Photoshop content-aware fill works so well OH GOD WHAT HAPPENED TO MY ARM

Is this an ad for Wildman or jcpenney?

It's good to see the finished product in the diameter I called several pages back! Nice!

I should go to sleep now! I've got work to do in the morning!
