It wouldn't be a bad idea to subscribe to our mailing list...

As many of you have noted in various customer posts, we sell only what we have in stock (sans Voluntary Pre Ordering). If it's sold out, it's sold out, you can't place an order for it and of course will never be charged or have to wait. And, your order will ship the Same or Next Day.

That's just the way we roll.

Oh, and stay tuned for new motors...

As always, we very much appreciate your business.

Thank you.

I like your concept. I wonder if the idea would work with kits and parts?
Mr. Bob

Would this include the 38mm 360, 720 motor and adapter kit?

Wait 54 mm Hardware in stock? Oh, I may have to shuffle around my order plans a bit.

Are you guys doing the free retaining ring with RMS-EZ reloads promotion that Aerotech mentions on their Facebook page?

What time will the sale start?

That's a great question which, honestly, I haven't given much though to . It will probably be late tomorrow depending on how the family Thanksgiving goes.

All right Robert, what time does the fun begin?

Just got back from launching some rockets with my son on a terrific cloudless and near windless day. an A8-3, C6-5, and E9-4. He said he loved the 'aroma' of the Black Powder motors which is a great sign!

Things should be up this evening so long as my son stays distracted with his quad copter :p.

And a 54-1280 motor secured for my L2. $60 is a smokin price for a complete motor.

I wouldn't say "Home of Free HAZMAT"
Maybe more part of a community as we stopped charging hazmat 4 years ago.
Welcome.

Your welcome, too.

Sorry If I missed it but what time does the sale start?

Hello. If you're on our mailing list then the details should be in your Inbox. Check your spam folder just in case. If you weren't subscribed, then just PM your email address and I'll forward you a copy. It will be worth your while..

Thank you.

Many thanks to your continued support.

Our Real Time Inventory System has ensured that no customer will be disappointed - if we don't have an item In Stock then you can't order it and you will never be charged. It's just the way we roll.

Thank you.

Oh, and if anyone knows how to coax a rocket hung up in a tree then please let me know.... an apparent rocket eating tree gobbled up my son's Estes Amazon yesterday. Nice flight on a C6-5 and what little wind there was managed to position it at the absolute top part of a ~30' tree! I couldn't believe it, right at the very top! Not on the side, not down in the branches somewhere, and I don't even thing a bird could possibly stay perched where it landed! What luck... My son was cool about it though, especially after I mentioned that Santa Clause would bring him another one :)

How about using your son's Quadra copter with a hook to snap it out of the top of the tree. Guess the quad would need a sufficient payload capacity, and the winds would need to be calm to pull it off!

I'm still pondering what motors to buy.... arrgggg too many choices, and not enough experience on my part yet.

Man, that's an idea. The quad copter I (or I mean, he...) has can rest in the palm of your hand and not only that, I'm a horrible pilot. Otherwise, that could be workable. You know, someone with a sizable quad copter should show up at the DARS Frisco launch site. I bet they could snag a few from the trees and makes some cash in the process. I can see it now, Rocket Recovery Services, LLC! Nice.

Pyrobob - you state home of free hazmat, does that mean no hazmat on ANY motor?

Hi Tim. Most of what I sell requires ground shipping by either FedEx or UPS, both of which assess a HAZMAT Fee; typically $28.50. Using the correct coupon code on our website for an eligible order (subscribe to our mailing list for more details) , I will pay the HAZMAT expense - a $28.50 value. For packages containing motors that require this method of shipping, the HAZMAT fee is always paid to the commercial carrier. Quite a bit of the time I am the one footing the bill for the HAZMAT fee instead of the customer, but no matter the scenario the package contents are declared and the fee is paid.

There are certain motors that are not required to be shipped in this manner and may go USPS Standard Post; take a look here: https://www.buyrocketmotors.com/no-hazmat-eligible/ This method can take longer, but USPS does not assess a HAZMAT fee, which is nice.

An order containing a combination of "HAZMAT" motors and those that do not as illustrated in the link above, will trigger the $28.50 HAZMAT fee of course.

Dig around on the website an you'll note clearly marked motors that trigger the HAZMAT fee and those that do not.

Thank you.

Thanks. I'm on your mailing list but was confused by the "hazmat/no hazmat" on some motors. Thanks for clearing it up!

At Ash Grove 2 weeks ago Dennis had a (slightly?) modifies Fat Boy on a I65 that landed on TOP of a tree. A quad copter would have beed a great way to get the rocket and all the electronics back.
Mr. Bob

Sweet. A Fat Boy on an I65? Great idea! I sympathize with the loss of his rocket on top of a tree. It is indeed cruel.
