Greetings all - so what have we missed? Jason Toft and I were just chatting on FB about this project tonight and I thought I'd check in and see what all is going on. Many thanks to those of you that have kept this effort alive. Both Jason and I have experienced a fair amount of life changes since we started this thing, but we both agreed that we probably hit the same wall the Alpha project ran into. No excuses here, just life! In all, we're still both very grateful for Jim and his FlisKits rocketry offerings, the many people that got onboard and participated, and to those that will help get this thing across the finish line. Time to go to the FlisKits website and make a trip down memory lane. Time really does FLY!

The Deuces are currently in WV awaiting launch. After that they are scheduled to go to Montana (I think).

We still need a volunteer to fly them in Louisiana.

After that, as I recall without scrolling up far enough to know for sure, we're done except for the final flights in New England.

Thank for reminding me. I need to check in on the WV flight to see when that's going to happen.

I checked and the WV flights are tentatively scheduled for early June. More news and photos soon (I hope).

Any chance bringing this home? We could wrap up any missing states this spring and finish up over the 2015 summer.

I've been wondering about this, too. Rockets been sitting a while, just looking for some update :)

Sorry. Part of that is my fault. They've been sitting in WV waiting for a launch window. I've been meaning to follow up, but life has been sort of crazy. I'll see what I can find out next week.

I think we're in for a rather severe winter compared to what has been happening so next spring I'm betting...unless it hasn't really struck there...yet...

How many states are left now ? Can't be many. I'd hate to see it fail now

Mud season is here and time to think about future launches,.. I just wanted to bump this thread,...

It has been over a year since I flew these rockets in Oklahoma and passed them on to the next flyer/state.

What the heck?

...ok, what's going on with the rockets? Where are they at and who's got them? It's flying season and an update is in order. There's so few states left this could be finished this year. I didn't upgrade the traveling storage box to see it sit...somewhere... ;)

I just hope whoever has the box now is feeding the live armadillo I sent as a representative icon of Oklahoma.

It could have been worse; I could have SCENT a live skunk.

I have contacted the current holder of the box. He had some health issues and was unable to fly it in his state (WV). If should be on its way to me or to the next flyer shortly.

Anyone volunteering to be next?

Ok but did he get them flown? It would be a shame if he didn't but I'm hoping that he got it done when he felt better. The Estes C6-3's I used were a little short but C6-5's would have been too long I think...they have gotten pretty heavy with the repairs.

Nope. They didn't get flown so we still need to fly in WV.

...yeah... It's almost done, what's left?

It shipped to West Virginia and disappeared. I'll have to try to find out who had it last.

Well, poop.

I finally got in touch with the guy that had the Tour de Deuce rockets in West Virginia only to have him tell me that he shipped them back to me back in July.

I never got them. But I wasn't sure that I should be expecting them either, so no one noticed.

Even at this late date, and without a receipt, he's checking with the post office, but I don't hold out much hope at this point.

After flying in forty plus states they just disappeared.

I hope everyone that know what these are will be on the lookout for them at your local and regional launches as well as on Ebay, etc. Perhaps they'll show up somewhere.

I will cross post this message in the Watering Hole to get the word out to a few more people.

Sorry folks.

There missing??? Well crap!! Someone somewhere has a pair of souvenirs :(
