the rocketry sites.

That's about all I really have time for.

Dicks Rocket Dungeon
Rocketry Planet
Life Hacker
Daily Rotation (news round up for computer geeks like me)

other techie related sites.

Oh yes...... Craigslist.

EDIT>>> judging from the looks of folks at the last launch, I doubt there will be many mentions of fitness related sites.

My "list" of sites that I instinctively bring up as soon as I launch my browser most days is:

TRF
YORF
RCGroups
EMRR
Gmail
Facebook
ThinkGeek (Check for new stuff)
NewEgg (Computer parts)
Currell.net (Paper models, usually just to check if there have been any updates)
https://www.ffscale.co.uk/ (Free flight scale models, also to check for updates)

YORF
O'Reilly Safari books (tech library)
many blogs too numerous to mention using Google Reader, but a few highlights:
Dick Stafford's blog, (rocketry)
Charles Petzold's blog, (windows, music)
Mark Evanier's blog, (hollywood, animation)
Ken Levine's blog, (hollywood, baseball)
Scott Guthrie's blog, (Microsoft VP)
Michael Covington's blog, (AI, Astrophotography, old friend)
Joel Spolsky's blog (IT thoughts)
John K.'s blog (animation, ren&stimpy creator)
Jackson Publick's blog (animation, Venture Bros creator).

Let's see...

EMRR, RP, YORF

My reader has 130 feeds so I look at a lot of site with a little regularity. :surprised:

I lurk as a guest on The Authentic Campaigner American Civil War reenactor forum to advance my knowledge of authenticity in that hobby.

Oh, and some Yahoo! groups on model railroading and railroads.

Used to visit the CZ sub-forum on rimfirecentral regularly at lunchtime at my previous job (thus, my forum name), but my current employer has restricted access to such "dangerous" websites. At home, I don't have time to spend (waste ;)) on such things, plus, I've had enough of sitting in front of a computer for the day.

I will consult wikipedia and The Internet Movie Database when at home, but I don't participate in any discussions on those.

- All of the rocketry sites I know
- My multiple emails
- Facebook
- Wikipedia (just for those stuff that I can't seem to know:lol:)
- My district/school web page (to find out homework that I didn't write down during class)
- A bunch more.

You mean there is more to this internet thing than just the Rocketry Forum?

Hey, at least it was just a rickroll.

Coulda been Goatse or Tubgirl....:surprised:

A few of my regular haunts:

slashdot.org
electrical-contractor.net
practicalmachinist.com
thespacerace.com
Inside KSC
NASAspaceflight

and I'm one of those dinosaurs who still uses USEnet newsgroups....

1. IndyStar.com - Motorsports Blogs and forums
2. Weather.com (especially during Hurricane Season)
3. IndyCar.com
4. SpeedTV.com
5. Spaceflightnow.com
6. Payloadbay.com
7. NEFAR.net
8. YouTube.com

I go to all of these sites in the following order:
  • slashdot.org
  • digg.com
  • xkcd.com (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
  • macrumors.com (I became addicted while shopping for my laptop. I would check MacRumors every day until I bought it to make sure that Apple was not going to surprise everyone with new laptops right after I got one)
  • hackaday.com
  • engadget.com
  • rocketryforum.com (I come here last since (1)it takes a lot of time to read all the new posts sometimes and (2) there is new stuff a lot less frequently than most of the above)

If I'm still bored:
  • instructables.com
  • facebook.com

In order of viewing:
ROL,Rocketry Planet, N3rd, TRF and Life in the Red (HuskerExtra.com).

My usual routine: (workday/night)

Get up, get a cup of coffee, cruise to YORF, catch up on the posts there..That usually takes me to 9am, go shower, fix my brunch, and then hit up TRF til I go to work at 11am..
Come home from work(see what time I post this?) and catch up on TRF, then off to la-la land..

Days off pretty much the same thing except then I have like 500 errands to do and usually only get to 1 or 2 of them!:rotflol:
