Any one know any where to buy some? They are great in saucers.

I know. I had a great flight on a 24 mm g engine. Nice long burn. would love to have a case of em.

Anyone hear any news of what is happening with them since Mr. Ellis died? I assume the business is essentially non-existent with him out of the picture. :( I was just hoping someone would pickup his line. Some of those motors were incredible.

Scott Miller still has some. Scott's business is SFSM Industries/Miller Motor Works. I purchased some from him recently.

Hmm.. Red Arrow does not have them listed anywhere on their website...

Phred.

pick up phone... dial number... speak to person.

At least that is what I did. Per that conversation:

1 Package F20-4's
1 Package F20-8's
4 G35-6's

That appears to be the sum total of his stash.

I passed on these as I have them in my stash already.

Appears they have sold. Thanks for the info. I will keep trying elsewhere. Thanks for the info.

As I posted above, red arrow is out. Impulse buys has them in Michigan, but does not ship them. Miller motorworks is out or does not return emails.

If you know of any others, please share them. I hope not to have to take a road trip to Michigan just to get the motors.

Try a google search on ellis G37. That's how I found mine. There were still some available a couple of months ago. I'm going to use a couple to see if I can set a G record and a G-impulse 2-stage record with a G37-E6 shot.

Thanks for the suggestion. That is basically what I did. Miller Motor Works must be out or does not answer emails. Impulse buys does not ship. I have 1 engine left.

Maybe someone will take up where Mr. Ellis left off. I wish we could find some one to buy Ellis Mountain or make similar long burning engines.

They are the best for saucers.

Check with Ken Allen at Performance Hobbies - he had some last summer, he may have some left.

Miller Motor Works is currently undergoing an addition to the family. They just had their first child. She already launched her first rocket too!

Let me know what you are in need of and i can find out what is available for you.

It is awesome that he has a new child. They keep us all young. I sent you a pm.

I launched a mercury rockets atomizer today - minimal modification with my last Ellis Mountain motor. The altimeter read out as 4250 feet. Nice launch. I wish a got some video.
